Wha are you gaming goals for 2014?

Serious question. And also what are you most excited for?

Mine is to get a PS4 when Second Son comes out.

To Play Shadowfall, the order, drive club, and many other games.

A gaming rig might come into play around the Holidays.

I beat 33 games last year, so my goal was to beat that number. Currently? probably not going to do that as playing games feels like work right now.

Try actually FINISH more games. I never really have the time to finish games anymore due to different reasons unless they're really really good and I feel compelled to play. I keep buying new games and even though I enjoy them I just move on really quickly because I feel I've seen enough and the rest of the game is the same.

To get pretty darn good at Dota 2 (just hit 100 wins yesterday).

My only goal is to finally get around to playing The Last of Us. Games like that require the right mindset to start playing. I don't want to give it my half-assed attention, I want to full-ass it.

I plan on eventually getting fixeight, out zone, battle bakraid, battle garegga, ketsui, and dodonpachi. probably won't be able to snag all of 'em in 2014 as that'll be close to $2500... but it's a definite possibility.

I also want to snag a Wii U with the wonderful 101, pikmin 3, and bayonetta 2.

I plan on getting to the 2nd loop in Progear (1-ALLd it for the first time last night), and 1 credit clearing either esp ra.de. or ibara.

The 2014 release schedule looks that lackluster to me. I figure by then the bugs will be worked out with a new SKU and games I actually give a shit about will atleast be officially in development.

My goal gaming wise is the chip away at my PC backlog so that I will want a PS4 this coming Black Friday. If I can't get through most of it, then I will more than likely put the PS4 off for another year.

To buy the least amount of games as possible and start working on some of my backlog. I'm off to a terrible start as I've bought a good number of games so far and have played almost nothing from my backlog. I'm actually working on two games I've already beaten.

I seem to be buying more games now and never finishing them. I usually buy it and play it constantly for 1-3 days then forget about or I just can't be bothered playing it.

I recently did that when Zelda: A link between worlds released and I just can't bring myself to play through it.

EDIT : I suppose my gaming goal (Failed so far lol) will be to complete the games I buy before moving on to another.
