that's nothing compared to the 500k that Capcom is offering for the Pro Tour Finals in December of this year. These 100k from MK don't even seem like it's gonna be a real tournament, more like just marketing, so meh.

Los Angeles is a long way off though. Can't be bothered with that.

That's Street Fighter though bro. That just isn't a fair comparison.

@Gue1@bobrossperm The $500,000 Capcom Cup encompasses many tournaments over the course of the year. This MKX Cup series only takes place over the course of 3 or so months.

You are right that they aren't comparable though, but only in the fact that one is bigger than the other, and takes place over the course of more time. Still though, the Capcom Cup encompasses both Xboxes, both PlayStations, and the PC. this MKX tournament seemingly only deals with the Xbox One for the time being.

Sorry, of course PC comes first, I meant between the consoles. FIFA, CoD, those kind of games, mostly Xbox first.

If you're a competitive MK player this is kind of a big deal. It's completely backed by NRS and may very well have more than 1 season. The MK community is excited. Also, MS backs ESL, so of course it's on XB1.
