Watch Dogs Wii U screenshots released!!

Ubisoft has sent over a batch of Watch Dogs Wii U screenshots to coincide with the game's arrival on Nintendo's console this week.

What do you guys think of the graphics shown? I think they are doctored honestly and the game won't look as good as this :)

You have to remember this is a game that runs on both PS3 and xbox 360, The wii U is more powerful than those systems so this shouldn't surprise anyone.

Never trust Ubisoft releasing images when it comes to Nintendo related products.... Besides, gameplay footage is already out in youtube for Watch_Dogs on the Wii U

Pretty sure the verdict is...exactly what we expected 6 months ago.

WiiU is better than the Last Gen versions, but not Better than the "Next Gen" versions, it's in between.

The Real Question is, Why exactly was it delayed so long if so little was done to "Improve" this version. Honestly Ubi would have gotten more sales if they had released this in the Summer rather than the week of Smash Bros.

There's a video of the game over at ign. It looks surprisingly good. Better than ps3/360 but also lacks that next gen sheen. Though it should be said that the ps4/x1 versions look really shitty in parts.

Looks good enough and the pad is like... designed for this game. Wish I had held off on getting the game for WiiU, now. Totally not buying it a second time, though lol.

It looks like they were able to keep texture settings high while compromising on lighting. Lighting looks very basic. It also seems to use anti-aliasing but on the lowest setting as possible just to eliminate the jaggies. The system is inbetween a Xbox 360 and Xbox One so ... yeah.

Why would you get Watch Dogs on a last-gen system?

since when wii u is more powerfull than x360 ps3? it has a 20% fastaer GPU and a 20% slower CPU, is very bad for a sandbox game full of NPCs, on the PS3/X360 it already looked like a desert

X1 is between past gen and current gen (see GTA V) Wii U is 100% last gen, no matter what year it has been released, also Ouya is a PS2's gen system, not current gen

WiiU sure is a weak system for 2014 when it come to hardware power, but it is still a current gen system.

Last time I heard anything about the WiiU's gpu is that it might be around 1.5X stronger than the 360's gpu and that the cpu is about the same, weaker or slightly better depending on how you use the cpu when compared with the PS3's and 360's cpus.Rain effects are not in the 360 and PS3 version of the game and I don't think those versions have the onlie modes in the next gen versions. The WiiU does have the online modes in the next gen versions.

It's a current gen Nintendo console. AKA a last gen console. Doesn't matter what you want to call it, the hardwar eis outdated. Playing Watch Dogs on this console will be like playing it on 360 but with some differences, so basically, it will be abysmal.

When I see lone screenshots of games without comparisons is when I most realise how much graphics don't matter to me (within the realm of reason). These screenshots look fine to me.

The same screenies are on the Wii U mockup for the game. The pictures are legit.

Obviously it looks closer to the 360/PS3 versions. The Wii U is a current-gen console but your experience playing Watch Dogs on Wii U will be closest to the experience of playing this game on last-gen consoles.

I don't know why some peeps are just hung up on changing the definition of generation. Call the system a weak ass outdated piece of shit all you want, nobody will argue with you besides maybe mariokart64fan.

Really, it doesn't matter what you call it. It's old stuff. The only thing keeping it going is purists who go for gameplay over graphics.

The Wii U version looks a lot closer to the PS4 version than it does to the PS3 or 360 versions.
