Washy Doges ps4 vs xbone comparison.

Xbone looks to be missing or using a low form of AO, shadows and lighting effects also obviously suffers from a lesser resolution.

You would need a side by side comparison to even see the differences and even then it isn't really that big of a difference. All versions of this game looks weak graphically, yes even the PC version maxed out as well.

PS4 version is so dark, it's like they'll force you to adjust the brightness. It's like they're hiding details in the dark literally.

It has come to my attention that the entire lemming gaming experience relies heavily on ignorance. Many of them actively avoid superior experiences to fool themselves. It's a very fascinating phenomenon the level of self-deception some of them reach.

One is slightly lighter one is slightly darker other than that they are exactly the same. How shocking -.-

Looks almost identical. Xbox one is missing some shadows a lighting, maybe some more jaggies here and there. Otherwise looks the same.

Being a pc gamer myself it was readily apparent the moment I viewed the video.

Got to be honest with you I like the Xbox one version just cause I dont like the darkness of it. They look identical though

@ReadingRainbow4: So the contrast difference in the entire scene your going to attribute to AO maps vs the scaler actually being used on the PS4? The same shadows are present in both versions, the contrast has been altered but they are both present. If no AO map was there all the shadows would be based on dynamic lighting and we know that UBI didn't dynamically light one version and not the other. Conclusion your are looking at post processing effects more than likely not missing texture maps.

The game looks like shit on PC too brah. Sorry to ruin your fantasy.

Is this the game running at a lower resolution and at 30fps on both consoles? But yay it looks a bit better than the X1 version...lol dat current gen.

They look nearly indentical, and it is true in some shots the PS4 seems to have some crushed blacks, but only when there is zooming in......bottom line is on TV from a few feet away they will look nearly indistinguishable. Silly me I already got the season pass, I'm looking forward to this game but for some reason I have this gut feeling I might be a bit disappointed. As long as the city is nice and there is solid music selection, game should be fine, I'm sure UBI knows how to do nice gameplay and good mission design. We will find out soon!

I'm happy to say I couldn't notice much of a difference. I really had to struggle to see it, and when I started watching the video without looking at the Xbox/PS4 tag I couldn't even begin to tell you when the transitions begin.

I'm not interested in Watch Dogs but it looks slightly better on the PS4 IMO. If I were going to get it for my consoles it would be PC, PS4 and X1 last. Although it's worth noting that it doesn't look "bad" on the X1 like these Sony fanboys are saying, I'm sure it won't hurt their experience at all.
