Was there ever a hyped PS4 game that actually delivered?

Forgive me if I'm wrong but can someone name a hyped PS4 game that DIDN'T flop?

Woohoo! A remaster that cant even maintain 60fps! Cows are living it up.

Resogun, and Second Son were both damn good games.

Shadow Fall was really decent for a Killzone game.

Knack was an all around fun game. You just had to look at it for what it was. A kid friendly cute platformer. If you did that the game was solid.

2014 was the worst year for gaming and that's the first year of the console. Bloodborne will not only deliver, it will be a genre defining title and its on nothing else but ps4.

@mikehockbourns: Except I have played SO. It took insomniac signature crazy weapons and added a crazy on rails grinding system. To PS owners it wasn't that fresh we have played Insomniac games for years. SO isn't a bad game but it's story is complete nonsense and as good as it looks it looks behind SS.

Only Infamous and a lot people say it wasn't that good. People mentioning TLOU:R clearly shows how bad game library for Ps4 was in 2014.

I don't think so, but I don't care that much anyway. This is emblematic of Sony this gen so far. Ride on hype but without any substance. That's why I'm buying Wii U as a secondary console.

I got MCC for the campaigns first. The little I touched of the mp worked, mostly. Was it a shame how it released? Definitely. But MS has also given a lot of content as an apology and promised more for free. Dont kid yourself, cow. The PS4 first party so far as been so laughably bad.

You mock MCC, but is Driveclub working 100%? How about its sever lack of content, god awful AI, and still no PS+ version? All that after a year delay. Sony lies to you, and you take it because its all you have ever known from them. Now go enjoy playing your movie games.

xbox one should be your first, honestly I had every console for a good while and x1 is surprisingly the best one. The exclusives are the best and you can stream movies from the internet without a problem. Something the ps4 does not have, (flash). It also has all the best tv apps like HBO go. When I'm not playing games I have no problems watching any movie or any tv show with no problem. The PS4 acts like a 2005 flip phone, theres not much you can do on it.

MCC, well the Halo 5 beta was the most fun FPS game I played in a while. And Halo 2 online remastered is better than anything on the ps4 sadly.

You are entitled to your own opinion but the fact is that you mentioned last of us not being able to keep steady 60 fps, but at least WORKS AS INTENDED, mcc has been 3 months and coop and multiplayer are not even fixed, still minor problems in the solo campaigns, so yeah lol indeed, xbone can't handle remasters of 2 gens ago, but hey no problem, we are used to lems hypocrisy around here, keep changing the subject.

Not only TLOU Remastered is a great SP game it also has the best multiplayer iv ever experienced.

TLOU Remastered clearly shows how good the game really is.

The best current gen games, in my opinion, are Shadow of Mordor and Dragon Age Inquisition, but then again, they got moderate hype. Overhyped games, like Watch Dogs, Destiny, Assassin's Creed Unity, etc, rarely deliver.

infamous, TLOU:R, heck DriveClub is seriously underrated and has become my favourite racing game of last year (and i even own Horizon 2, which is also awesome).

Then after that there's Dragon Age Inquisition, Grim Fandango, Resogun, LBP3, Far Cry 4, Resident Evil HD,...

I could go on.
