Was the loot cave the best thing that happen to Destiny?

I used it for an hour. Got meh items, most of my gear was from farming vanguard and crucible marks. The cave was just a cheap method to a) Level up fast b) To get light gear faster.

I'm glad they took it off as this already short game was becoming shorter with the loot cave. Now what irked me was the queens gear not giving ascendant shards anymore.

I haven't used it, and I'm not interested in using. Much like the money glitch in GTAV.

I love that spot because beside the public events that happens in the area, all of a sudden an endless mob of enemies starts spawning every where until everyone dies. I remember sitting back and watching people shoot at and focus on the cave then suddenly the enemies come and they get surprise and fight for their lives. Fun times.

Its pretty funny how the game was the most anticipated title of the year and once its out the only thing exciting that people are talking about is a loot cave where players go shoot at it for hours. I don't blame people for exploiting it lol Money well spent I say.

They said, "We didn't want people to have to get loot from cave farming." But they are so stingy with the loot, of course people will look for exploits. I mean, they aren't really exploits if you ask me, just people gaming their game which has too little content based on the amount they ask of the community. The game is fun, but I think I'm going to step back from it for a while until they add more to do. I've seen the same levels dozens of times already, and I can only keep playing variations of the same content so many times.

Why are people making such a big deal about this loot cave? Most games like this have some loot/xp exploit on release developers didn't intend.

It was nice while it was there, but now it's gone. Let's move on.

I miss it

Well, it showed me where their priorities were. Instead of fast-tracking new content they closed a loot cave and there still isn't anything new and exciting to do a week afterward.

I'm so done with this game.

My friends and I called it the Glory Hole Cave. The surprises were endless, as was the shooting.

I used it a lot, almost everything i currently use come from there. It was boring but so is everything in Destiny after you've spent 15+ hours. Since the nerf i feel like this game got even worst because now there's absolutely nothing else left to do but one Nightfall/Heroic per week (yay log in for couple of hours once a week and be done...) and Crucible. This game has as much content for you to do as the beta,,,,,,,, nothing but run in circles and shoot.

No, the best thing is the upcoming DLC where they we will have to pay money for the rest of story that was shitty in the first place

the only thing great about destiny is/was Marty's OST he made for the game.

and since Bungie decided to fire him, they effectively have nothing left.

I did it for 30 minutes. Got one legendary gear.
