The thing that is bothering me the most about all of these Sony fanboy threads is the lack of mentioning Yakuza O enough in them. Seriously, it's one of the best exclusives it has. Quit being ignorant of it fanboys and use this game in your arguments more. The game is Shenmue level for f*cks sake. If I was an Xbox only gamer I would be sick with envy.

@soul_starter: While PS4 and XB1 fanboys duke it out, I will be enjoying Zelda, Mario, Bomberman, Arms, and many other great games in year 1 on the Switch. And I can do it on the toilet.

@NathanDrakeSwag: Bomberman is probably going to have more replay value than you can fathom. I know being a PS4 fanboy the idea of replay value is foreign, but it does exist in other places.

MMM lets see uncharted sold almost 9 million copies was higher rated than any game on 2016 including PC games,and no 3rd person adventure shooter on PC comes even close.

Uncharted is severely overrated. I know because I have it. This is what has happened to Playstation, it is too popular for its own good and a ll of their games are overhyped/overrated. Ratchet and Clank was much much better, but isn't going to sell anything near Uncharted 4 at the end of the day.

Uncharted 1 was utter pants... literally if it wasn't Naughtydog in the title and prompt up by sony the franchise would of died there.

Uncharted 2 was the Ass Creed 2 of Uncharted... probably the best they could do... everything there after, is just graphics....

But I view it kind of like Horizon, unnecessary game that has tiresome(or done to death) and unimpressive gameplay, but still great production value. Not knocking Horizon really, it's a beautiful and great game by the looks of it. But looks pretty boring to me.

That's because it is, and its why all of Sonys 1st party dies off after the initial hype... they can't make franchises with lasting gameplay at all.

As for graphics whoring, i see that from ps4 fanboys FAR more nowadays, since there's no platform holder to make Crysis like games anyway.

Then again, that graphical obssession was one of the things that fucked over some pc devs in the past.

Looking at Sony's closure of studios, higher length of time in game production and reduce exclusive output, it's not going to work out for consoles either.

You can't really call what happens backwards compatibility and alot of this modern "large" library is indy trash which fills up the steam store with rubbish.

Besides a few handful launch games that are still "exclusive" (well,according to you, they wouldn't since you can play them on the X1 and X1 Slim) like Halo and Sunset Overdrive. Play Anywhere games makes having a X1 pointless, but you can't really play all of the PS4 games on your PC

No. Not really. Sony fans countt game like Cracksown 3 as exclusive but even then it falls short . It's been a slaugter house since 2016. The Scorpio will do good for MS but let's not kidd ourselves.

That's a lie Sony fans were hyping games since E3 , Gamescom and TGS 2015 before Scorpio was even announced . At E3 2016 and PSX they pretty much destroyed Microsoft and proved why they are the most dominant console brand in the industry. Gamers in general are hyped about Sony's line up while MS has yet to prove themselves .

To be honest PS4 has one AAA exclusive this year. Nioh is AA. That's not a lot.

With MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries, Mount and Blade 2 Bannerlord, Dawn of War 3, Unreal Tournament, System Shock 3, and Quake Champions who cares?

The PS4 has been on the market since 2013, it just now got it's 3rd game worth a ****. 4th if I actually end up digging Yakuza, and even then it's like the 6th? Yakuza game made.

Looks like I picked up the PS4 at the right time, because I agree, this is the console to get. My only regret is that there's too much to play, because I wanted to get Nioh before Zelda came out, but that's not going to happen since Yakuza 0 has kept me busy for the last 100+ hours, and I still have 5 more chapters to go. If it wasn't for my dream game coming out this year, Yakuza 0 would have GOTY on lockdown for me, because holy shit, is it good, lol.

Mine gathered dust for years, but I'm finally turning it on thanks to Yakuza 0 (and the other 1-2 recent games that look vaguely appealing).

If I tried, for every single exclusive you name on PS4 I can name 10 on PC that you can't play on PS4. The PS4 will need a hell lot more than a few exclusives to even come close to what the PC has to offer, so get your fanboy boner under control OP before you embarrass yourself. Having Gravity Rush and Zero dawn won't make all the cons that come with the PS4 disappear.

Btw gotta agree late 2016/now has been the best time to pick up a PS4.

I made a thread last year about how useless the new gen was, with MHS V possibly the banner game of the gen by that point bieng inferior in terms of gameplay and options than the PS3 version.

Now however, with UC 4 having been realised, strong 3rd party games, a growing library of sports titles and ofc all the very good exclusives, you gotta game on PS4.

Who cares? Obviously I'm fanboying out.
