wouldnt it be awesome if virtual reality will be on ps4 with photorealism graphic? i know its to early to tell but imagine playing resident evil with total environment interaction and freedom of movement. its like you tryin to survive in the movie. and you can team up with ppl online to help out each other. anyone would agree with this kind of speculation?

Let's just hope they keep the same designed contoller as the Sixaxis/Dualshock..there has never been a better designed controller. They've been smart enough to keep it that way for the past 3 generations.

no,no no no no, and no

we are FAR from realistic grafix and perfect physics

but VR is very possible

heh, it would be awesome if you wear a VR suit that detect all your movement. but the dualshock addon would be nice.

its true that we are far from realistic grafix but look at the games coming out so far on this generation. including crysis, GTHD or GT4, bioshock and many others. technology evolve day by days, with Intel on steroid with their C2D chips and upcoming processor. who knows we might coming near to virtual reality gaming in the not so far future.

The problem with VR, and the reason it never caught on, is eye strain. A 3D object that appears 30 feet away but is actually only inches from your eyes causes your eyes muscles to focus unnaturally.

perhaps Sony might fix it.

"In order to engage the other sense of taste, the brain must be manipulated directly. This would move virtual reality into the realm of simulated reality like the "head-plugs" used The Matrix. Although no form of this has been seriously developed at this point, Sony has taken the first step. On April 7, 2005, Sony went public with the information that they had filed for and received a patent for the idea of the non-invasive beaming of different frequencies and patterns of ultrasonic waves directly into the brain to recreate all five senses.[2] There has been research to show that this is possible. Sony has not conducted any tests as of yet and says that it is still only an idea.

It has long been feared that Virtual Reality will be the last invention of man, as once simulations become cheaper and more widespread, no one will ever want to leave their "perfect" fantasies. " source http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Virtual_reality

again, this is just speculation but a guy can dream right? :)

Rest assured that whatever the PS4 features... they will have likely stolen it from Nintendo and watered it down.

P.S. What is with all the fan favor for the dual shock/sixaxis... those controllers with their oddly placed joysticks are ridiculously overrated.
