Vita 2000's official NA release date is May 6th

Borderlands 2 will be out May 13th separately from the bundle but also on May 6th with the bundle.

Anyways, cool stuff for the Vita. Aside from the screen, this Vita looks better in every way from the old one, especially with build material which sucked major husky dick on the old one.

Pretty sure you only get a voucher for Borderlands 2 with the bundle, redeemable when the game releases the week after.

Still, great deal for Vita fence sitters. It was news of this new system that made me start looking into finally grabbing a Vita, but comparisons of the new vs old screen convinced me to snag the OLED model.

I think more people need to get the old model.

Or whatever, more people need to get a Vita in general. I really don't want mobile gaming as the future of on-the-go gaming. I want the 3DS and Vita to succeed.

hmmm not sure that's worth a change from OLED to LCD (from the user perspective)

nah LCD is better for portables as it has less glare

@osirisx3: Like I said I've had no issues whatsoever with my Vita. I use my Vita frequently out on the street and don't remember having issued with glare. I'd rather take a more vibrant screen than lower quality LCD

I wish they'd kept the old screen, with a more decent build. Still, OLED technology isn't really where it was supposed to be.
