Interesting. I guess that's a good point. I've read people commenting how PS4's are basically much harder to find in the US.

Sony is generally struggeling to get consoles out in required numbers World wide, here in orthern Europe it is likely easier to meed God on a pub, then finding a ps4 in the stores.

the cows have been owned because they all came here to shout about how the xbone will fail at launch and how nobody will buy it and that miscrosoft was doomed. Yet just as I predicted system wars is not the real world and does not in any way shape or form represent the demographics of the people who will actually be going out and buying these consoles. So yes the cows have been owned. By all accounts this is a very successful launch for the xbone and microsoft is well on it's way to having a great gen. Of course system wars isn't the real world, thank go for that! If every gamer out there would a rabid fanboy like the most vocal ones on this board, I'd probably have given up on gaming a long time ago. And yes, of course the Xbox would sell, that became especially clear when MS changed a lot of their policies after E3. It was certainly a good move for them to change their strategy after that massive feedback.

i wouldn't claim ownage if the cows weren't so visibly butthurt by the xbone's success. If they were just quiet and kept it moving I wouldn't say nothing. But they are so obviously in their feelings about it denying every single report that says that the xbone is doing well. I can't help but laugh at them. If you follow those numbers, that means PS4 sold over 900,000 in Europe.

US = 1,000,000 launch

BF = 160,000 - 200,000

WW = 900,000 launch

Total = 2.1 Million <--- Sony Number

Dude sony sold 1 million units on 24 hours in NA alone,MS sold 1 million in 13 countries not even close to be the same.

Then they launch in UK and sold 150,000 in 48 hours,could not even beat the PS3 launch that was 165,000 on 2007,worse by week 2 the xbox one only gained 20k more sales to sit at 170,000 units,the PS4 in 48 hours wiped all the records of sales,and beat the xbox one numbers silly.

The only thing stopping the PS4 from probably doubling xbox one sales are supply constrains,MS has more units because they are selling less units,if it far easier to buy an xbox one than to buy a PS4 it is a fact.

X1 sold 2 to 1 in north american compared to the ps4. Ps4 has less than a 200k lead in the US for launching a week earlier. Not a bad showing by MS by any means

Though i dont necessarily trust VGC, there is a big difference in couting pre-orders, and actual sales.

for all claiming ms is doing well they are. but when talking about numbers where ps4 launch a week before and is WW unlike m$ 13 country release. fact is ps4 sold about 2.1 and xbone 1.6. so in the numbers game ps4 beat it.

but i find it interesting that wiiu has sold 4.4 million according to vchartz, when did they sell those extra 500 thousand consoles.

No what you do is make claims with only half the data. You then continue to point to the half data as ownage and when multiple people ask you to get proof you just rinse and repeat. Let's not forget that cows also use VGcharts as ownage as well as speculation and prediction articles.

If true excellent for both. MS has rebounded nicely from the disaster of E3 and Sony hasn't missed a beat. This is great news for gamers and there's no way to spin it otherwise.

This and amen. Irregardless of who has the better sales right now, alot of Cows predicted MS would have a failure of a launch and not even be close to Sony in sales. Each gen is its own story and this one is just beginning. But to anyone who has written off the Xbox One at launch, you're simply wrong. Going forward we shall see what happens, but so far MS has to be damn pleased considering all those online polls and all those gaming forum threads and all the doom and gloom people... none of it has manifested itself in real life. Kudos to MS for one heck of a turnaround since E3. Far from perfect, but nothing resembling a disaster. All in all MS has to be damn pleased.
