[QUOTE="Eddie-Vedder"]No PSN Titles. No Arcade Titles.foxhound_foxSome of the best games of the generation have been DD-only games. Bastion for instance. Bastion is one of my favourite games of this generation. If I ever have the patience for it I'll try making a list for PSN/Arcade games, but atm I really don't feel like it.
Games that are playable via BC I won't add, cause that's against the whole point of the thread, but the others I will, already added, dance central, gonna add Call of duty 2, and I'll check the others.Go 360 !

odd that...and if we take those away....the ps3 is left with 38...odd that items that you refuse to add for the 360 are okay to add for the ps3...
lol, masturbation continuation.
when even devoted fanboys can only fudge the numbers enough to get a 3 game victory you know without a doubt the ps3 was kind of a joke this gen.
can you even imagine what this list would look like if it was a crazy 360 fanboy doing the lists and manipulating the count in an attempt to make the 360 look good by doing things like including games on 360 but not on ps3?
hey sw lets not count a shytload of games on 360 because there are pc versions that nobody bought!

Lol, you fail. Lems gonna lem...
Oh look, it's this thread again.
Judging the value of a game based on a Metacritic score is a very limited way of thinking. Just stick with what you feel is best for you, and you'll always win.
DraugenCP
Metacritic is the best way to judge the value of games. All reviews from professional companies and users are merged together to make a score. How is that a bad thing? :|
Again, Lems gonna lem.
Hey sw, let's redefine the word "exclusive" to suit our purposes and artificially inflate our exclusive numbers. :cool:lol, masturbation continuation.

heh, i struck a nerve because firstly even with shamelessly fudging the numbers in this topic there is only a 3 game difference and secondly if you only count games playable on either ps3 or 360 only and leave out the rest of the hardware required to play 360 games the ps3 library looks like the red headed step child of the generation.

[QUOTE="freedomfreak"][QUOTE="rilpas"]why isn't Tomb Raider legend on the 360 list?rilpasWhy would it? I thought that game wasn't on the PS3? I could be mistaken It is. It's on pretty much every system :P

Metacritic is a decent way of getting an indication of a game's overall quality. It doesn't say anything conclusive. A collection of opinions, no matter how 'professional' they may be, is still a collection of opinions and not facts. And that's not even mentioning that video game journalism is relatively immature and unprofessional, and under the influence of publisher money and marketing hype.
And I don't even own a 360, never have. You don't need to be a lemming to see how moronic these arguments are. Anyone who sees Metacritic as the final authority on a game's quality is either a rabid fanboy or very insecure about his own opinions.

It's no final authority but what's the alternative? GS scores? Metacritic games scores should be effected less by publisher money and bias towards a system, game series or game genre than GS scores and there's only really those two ways for the people here to objectively compare games.[QUOTE="GamerwillzPS"]Metacritic is the best way to judge the value of games. A GameSpot review is written by a person who is entitled to his/her opinion. That means 1 opinion.
Metacritic consists many more than 1 opinion. A lot more.
Which would you trust?

What I'm saying is that Metacritic only serves to get a global indication on a game's quality. There is no final authority (except maybe yourself) because it is impossible to get an objective answer to a subjective question.

My own judgment. More opinions equals a better indication, but no matter how many opinions, it doesn't change the fact that we're dealing with a collection of opinions and not a collection of facts. Ideally, well-formulated opinions grounded in reasonable arguments, but still opinions.
I have a 360, PS3, and a Wii... (AND a gaming pc) Out of the consoles, I prefer the 360. And I DON'T like Kinect. The PS3 has been better since about 2008 this is coming from someone who owns both. Anyone who doesnt admit that either doesnt own a ps3 or somehow fell in love with the Kinect.

*Raises hand*
Me too. I own both too and I prefer the PS3 because of awesome games. The 360 literally has no games.
I think anyone with common sense knows that the PS3 is the better system to go to for high quality games. I don't think this thread was nesseccary.
