No clue what skylandrs is either. Are the toys used into he game or something?

yea...you buy the toys then you can use them in game.

i probably would have bought it...but im an oldschool disney fan... the 1940's-1980's

most of the toys are from the new disney movies....and i dont like any of them except that one movie...Frozen.

They got a money maker there. People thought DLC was bad..

Yeah, Europe got it early. I got it a day before release. I don't think it'll do all that special. One thing I noticed on this board, is that people are interested in it, despite the game being a musou game. It being Zelda helps.

I'm waiting on a Toad/Captain Toad Amiibo. I'll buy a Peach Amiibo if she is swinging that poor Toad around like its a fungal shield.

Obviously Disney Infinity and Destiny have long term plans to help sustain sales and stay on top for as long as possible in the form of Add Ons... A butt load of add ons.

Any word if Hyrule Warriors plans on doing the samething ? Or can we expect it to drop off the charts next week ?

Well for Starters.... Amiibos work on Multiple games in Multiple franchise across multiple Genres, unlike Disney Infinity, however to be fair In Infinity you can create you own games so thats something right, plus the Figurines are backwards and fowards compatible. Skylanders ,from what I hear is only Backwards Compatible but thats cool too. Somebody should know more.

I'm beginning to think these Amiibo's do little more than being able to customize your characters the way you want them to be. You know how games (especially fighting games) would give you the ability to set combos, moves, colors, clothes, etc.... well, the difference is that you didn't have to pay for it.

Now, if these figures actually allow you to use different characters in games they were not designed for... count me in. It would be cool to ply as Mario in a Donkey Kong game, or vice versa.

im pretty sure it will drop out next week....wiiU isnt selling as good as xbox or playstation.

Instead of of Tasking Tecmo to make Dynasty Warriors with a Zelda make over, they could work on Porting their best game instead, Dead or Alive..... Or better yet, have them a DoA game with Nintendo Characters. But then again, how would that affect Super Smash Sisters ?

i think amiibos launch alongside smash bros wiiU...so i dont think the date is confirmed yet.

they already did something similar with tekken wiiU.... it didnt work. and like you said. nintendo already successful has a fighting game.

i never played those dynasty warriors games so im actually ok with hyrule warriors being their choice.
