Is Forza losing status as AAA average franchise? Still more review coming in, but maybe not enough to raise above 9.0. We will find out of Gran Turismo can regain AAA average status in few weeks.

Cutting your in game content in half while you also put out a DLC season pass will do that to your metacritic score. Obviously it bothered some reviewers more than others. I am one of the biggest Forza fans on system wars, and an 80 average seems about right to me considering the circumstances.

EDIT: in a way I find it hilarious. Gamespot gave Forza 4 a score that I felt was too low, then they turn around and give Forza 5 one that may be too high.

If I am unfair then why do I admit Gran Turismo is currently not AAA average franchise? GT5 was flop average compare to previous game. Looking to be the case for Forza also.

I know it is in nature for lemming to be hypocrite and DC, but they having very different response after Beyond review.

I bet GT6 gets marked down for not being on next gen platforms. Forzas got a good score, saw it playing today and looks great.

I honestly don't know how it scored so high when it offers less than the last Forza. Still, it got a 9 here and as far as flop or not and spreedsheet, that's all that matters.

GT6 look better than many next gen game however. AA average is very good score and I am glad xbro can at least enjoy this game in 1080p.

Personally i don't care for racing games at all but forza reviews are all well above average. out of the 31 reviews 25 were positive and 6 were mixed. its the highest scoring launch title as well. Halo : CE has a 97 on metacrtic so if halo 5 gets a 95 is it a letdown? People using these arbitrary numbers to try and prove their agenda is beyond retarded. all you do is tout sony and trash MS. no reason for that except stupidity

But as far as content its a little slight, to be expected tho as a launch title. Tc is on suicide watch after these horrendous ps4 scoring games. Currently, Resogun is higher average but this can change as both game have more review. No, above 9 is AAA, does not matter if 9.5 or 9.7. Last halo was not AAA however.

Yes. Even though GT5 was unrival technology, menu system and navigation and other issue lead to huge letdown. Forza 5 is new GT5, with less content.
