Final Fantasy Type-0 HD has now opened for preorders on Steam for $27, with a listed release date of August 18th. It comes with some bonuses for DOTA 2 if that's your thing

This is a bad game, and you probably shouldn't play it. Most of my enjoyment on PS4 came from the XV demo. I couldn't finish Type-0, way to much grinding along with a shit story and characters.

Forget those monkeys... dont ever what to run through that again. I will pass.

Type-0 was undoubtedly one of the worst FF games I've ever played. I'd actually rather play the FFXIII series or FFX-2 over this PoS.

$27, good to see them not overprice it with that FFXV demo for a change, now if they'd just drop the digital price on consoles (at least for a temp sale) so I can pick it up.

Never picked this up, as I wasnt paying full retail for an upscaled PSP game years late.

At least now I know where to pick it up if/when I get the urge to play. Word of mouth has not been kind.

It's kinda funny hearing so many people hype this shit up for years (the psp version), and months (for the console version). I started seeing a lot of people to change their tune about it once it was revealed that it was coming to steam a couple of months ago. While it's true that some people did voice their woes about it earlier; ..the timing is unfortunate. lol

I loved the game on psp and I love it now on ps4, but I can see why people who game on consoles mostly expected more out of a port of a handheld game.

Can't wait for the sequel.

Terrible game, the only reason I bought this on consoles was the FF15 demo. If the PC version doesn't come with FF15 demo, then there's absolutely no reason to get it.

I need to finish it. I enjoyed it what I played. Though, that camera was a massive pain.

Gamespot gave this game an 8 and called it a step in the right direction for the franchise didn't they?

I think they forgot it had an unfollowable story, awful characters, and some of the worst acting I've seen since Sonic Adventure.

Not to mention a bad camera and repetitive combat

Most off review I think they've ever done, worse than underrating Twilight Princess and TLOU

Agreeing to such a thing would be a complete insult to the FF franchise and JRPGs in general. Who are these fans you speak of? FF Type-0 is hands down one of the worst games I've played in a while. It's mostly down to the voice acting, script and non-nonsensical plot being completely atrocious. Everything else about the game is mediocre at best.

I don't know why you find that surprising considering everything else since then FF-10 has been pretty bad.

Game is pretty good, gameplay wise I have had fun so far (about 25 hours in I think), the story had some interesting ideas, but damn were the characters bad
