It's coming along really nicely, and looks fantastic even at pre-alpha stage. I'm almost finished with the Xbox version of first one at the moment, and it's a superb game. In places, it's even better than Grand Theft Auto, and so i'm glad it's coming to the 360 too.

no, i think its the other way around Yeah remember the 360 sports games launch titiles. Madden 06 Barely had any modes. And NBA live barely had any Modes and Barely looked like a Next gen game,

a different studio is developing the ps2 version, the 360/ps3/pc version are developed by pandemic and will be built from the ground up for 'next gen' systems

If you really think other developers will neglect the Playstation 3 in the future, you're delusional...Bravo to Pandemic, the big budget, blockbuster multi-platforms that we have been used to with the PS2/Xbox (Sometimes GC) are coming to the next generation platforms. Let's hope the Wii does not get left out...

Remeber its not only on the 360. But still, thats a harsh time to release a game. For the PS2 and wii mercenaries may not have such a hard time selling indeed, but nearly every xbox 360 killer app franchise is launching next holiday (if they make it) so it's not a perfect timing.

Opposite way round Yeah 360 launch titles were dumbed down for the most part now Last gen console games are getting Dumbed down

Thats just HL2 OB, Mass Effect is coming out in a matter of months. May 22, 2007 says GS.
