Trade in a PS3/Xbox360 for $150 credit for a PS4/Xboxone

Big three just had their press conferences. We can debate who won or what not but if you are ready to make the jump here are some good deals I stumbled upon.

Get $150 toward a new Xbox One when you trade in select gaming consoles: 250GB Xbox 360 or a Playstation 3 Slim. @ Best Buy

Get $150 towards your Playstation 4 when you trade in PS3 (20GB or Higher) or Xbox 360 (250GB or Higher) @Gamestop

Offer Looks to be valid until 6/14 at best buy and 6/15 at Gamestop

$250 for a One to compliment my PS4 sounds wonderful, but I'm keeping the PS3.

What if I want a Wii U?

Until it YLOD on you. I am going to trade in my old PS3 phat console before it does YLOD.

Wii U isn't supported by 3rd party. This includes vendors. But hey if you really want to play mario and zelda I'm sure you have no problem paying the full price. Nintendo is banking on it.

I am not trying to leave out the Wii U. Nintendo deserves more love than anyone else this e3.

I am trying to find something. I think the issue is that since the console has been out for a year the trade in values aren't as good.

At gamestop they are offering an abysmal 50 bucks if you trade in a wii towards a wii u. There are no deals to trade in a ps3/xbox360 towards it :(

Nah, i'm gonna just pay it all when I grab them. I still have my 60GB PS3, and I don't want to ditch it.

But PS3 has so many more great games than PS4

Been there, done that. This is a super slim model I got for $99 from Sony for trading in my YLOD'd old one.

Don't see the point in trading in systems, when the ps4/xbone are lacking bc.

I guess it's good for those that don't bother replaying games.

In Nov, I traded in a 4 GB Xbox 360 slim that had a hard drive inserted. Best Buy couldnt tell the difference and honored the credit. They also took my 80 GB fat PS3 that worked but no longer reads disk...As long as it boots up to the menu screen, they dont care.

I think I heard people at slickdeals talking about how some of them can take rrod consoles but not ps3 yellow light.

Either way this is a great deal for people waiting the Kinectless xboxone or the new destiny bundle (or just be lame and get a ps4).

My TV sucks lol. I can't get a PS4 until i get a new TV, and if i can't afford a TV i sure as hell can't afford a new console.

Well when you do get your new fabulous TV, chances are, you will throw the entire last generation against your living room wall.

Not unless there is a killer RPG on next gen consoles. :P

Doesn't seem like there are any big console RPG bar From Software title coming anytime soon.

Today is the last day to trade up your 360 or PS3 for an Xboxone at BB. Tomorrow is the last day to trade up for a PS4 at Gamestop.

If the XBone was backwards compatible I would go for this deal in a heart beat. However since there is really nothing that interests me on the XBone (well that isn't going to the PC or the PS4 soon), and tons of stuff to play on my 360 I'll pass.

Media features alone makes this a horrible deal. Just buy a PS4 or X1 IMO.

When the 8th gen systems get more fleshed out in apps, it would be a great deal. As of now. Nope.
