Vita ones sold like garbage. 3DS Tales please.

I couldn't get over how bad Xillia was.I wanted to like it as Symphonia was one of my favourite GC games but the series is stuck in the past. The design is awful.

Abyss only sold 40k more, and it also sold like garbage

Anyway, as for Vita Tales games, well it seems the Tales team seems to have it closer to Sony than any part of Nintendo right now (which is odd because, according to Baba, Nintendo helped Tales get popular in the States)

I've never played any game of the series... are they good?

I haven't played a Tales game since Phantasia on SNES.... not even sure if I'm missing out lol

1/3rd are amazing (Vesperia, Xillia 2, Abyss, and Symphonia) the other 1/3rd are good (Graces f, Legendia, Eternia, Xillia) and the other 1/3rd are mediocre (Destiny PS1, Radiant Mythology 1, and Symphonia 2)

That's for the localized ones, then the not local fit into one of those three categories.

Overall, it's a really amazing series because every game is different than one another in battle system, story and music, but they all retain the series charm. :D

This is just major proof how Tales does well on Sony's consoles and whats amazing is that Namco knows that very well too ( duh how could they not know :P ) so im really glad we're getting more Tales than ever before not only in Japan but also localized exclusively only on PlayStation!

Tales on PS4 please!

Damn! The 360 version of Tales of Vesperia sold worse than the PS3 version. Funny since the 360 version is available worldwide while the PS3 version is exclusive to Japan. No wonder the series jumped ship.

It's understandable though that the PSVita and 3DS titles sold like crap. They're merely upgraded ports of other games. Not new titles.

From the ones iv played (symphonia 1&2,xillia1 and gracef) the series seems to have good games.Plus you can jump in anywhere since only symphonia 1&2 and xillia 1&2 are conneected.

its not like the 3ds ones did gangbusters ether.

In general, with the exception of the Radiant Mythology games and Hearts DS, Tales doesn't feel like a handheld game.

Not milk due to the fact we've gotten like 15.

Damn. Now my hopes for the vita ones ever coming to the west has disappeared.

Clearly, this should tell us that they should Release more Tales games for PS1 and PS2.

I would assume they made them to entice the Western Audiences.

I am playing xillia right now .... I was extremely skeptical at the beginning of the game but it grew on me and I can't put it down at the moment ... the story was surprisingly decent too.

I consider myself a follower of the franchise and can't wait for Xilli 2 and the other latest one.

I just started a few days ago and the story starts off so slooooooooow. But I just got off like a 5 hour marathon session and I usually can't play more like an hour of any other game.

For a series that has been around for so long not a single one ever even passed 1M copies sold in it´s major market? Not to mention that the best sellers there are mostly games that came out years ago.

Trust me, it will wow you later multiple times :)
