Top 5 things which caused Butt Hurt in 2014...

As we are at the end of the year and there has been some extremely bad "Butt Hurt" from every faction on SW IN 2014 i thought id see what are the top 5 things which caused "Butt Hurt" in SWs opinion.

1) Bayonetta 2 exclusivity (Edit : Thanks to Da_Illest for pointing out it scored a 10 also)

2) Street Fighter 5 not coming to X1, Tomb RIder X1 d3al.

3) MCC Flopping (or as i like to say getting the recognition it deserved)

Sorry i cannpt think of another 2 currently as just woken up and attempting to fill in forms.

So what are top 5 things which caused butt hurt here in SWs.

1. PS4 selling like crazy. Oh, the butthurt that has caused...

1- Bayonetta, Tomb Raider, Street Fighter exclusivity

2- Master Chief Collection flopping

3- Driveclub flopping after Forza Horizon 2 scores

4- Titanfall outscoring Infamous SS

5- I guess the WD and DS2 downgrade, maybe?

The first rule of 5club is to talk about 5club flopping.

4) The PS4's constant domination through the year

5) Lemmings constant failed attempts to try and show downgrades that didn't exist in PS4 games

@GrenadeLauncher: those will do Dude. I was gonna put "Ubisoft" as theyve been playing "just wait" game in attempting to get a legit game rather than a demo with bugz.

Actually, one the biggets one was probably Watch Doge being 900p on the ps4 after all the hell cows gave lems for the same resolution.

I mean, yeah WD was a mess. It clearly should have been atleast 900p on the xbone, and was fucked up on PC.

But maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan the meltdowns on all sites and forums over it was amazing.

XB1 fans giving cows shit over 900p, despite having a lower resolution.

PC fans mocking cows, and lems too, after all the 1080p floating

PS4 fans giving lems shit over 720p and damage controlling the whole thing

The one thing I can honestly say that has pissed me off the most is the Tomb Raider deal. I've been playing that multiplatform series on PlayStation since it came out in 1996. Now thanks to Square accepting Microsoft's deal, Tomb Raider may as well be dead to me.

One of the things I've been getting a kick out of, and I've been seeing it with increasing frequency, is the notion that when a developer shows early work-in-progress footage of a game that somehow amounts to a "promise" or "guarantee" that the game will forever look at least as good as it did at that time. We got it earlier in the year with Watch Dogs and now it's happening with Witcher 3. These people act as though early preview footage is equivalent to some kind of binding contract. No, it isn't. It's merely a snapshot of how the game looked at that particular moment in its development cycle.

And btw, I don't think you guys know what a flop is. A flop is a game that doesn't sell. It has nothing to do with controversy about how a game's online code runs. MCC has sold just fine.

And I'm not sure MCC should be in the top 5. It's a big deal that the game is broken sure. But I would replace that one with the overall butt hurt caused by Nintendo this year. Cows and Lems both have had a tough time dealing with their "superior" boxes being outclassed by the Wii U this year.

Tomb Raider is coming all platforms though.........

And you must be boycotting Street Fighter V as well.

The Shitbox's failure to make a comeback despite the lem's insistence that it would do so at launch, in March, in June, in September and in November.

@speedfreak48t5p: It's far from confirmed as coming to PS4 so I assume it won't until otherwise officially stated.

While I'm not boycotting Street Fighter 5 or Capcom, I won't be buying the game as it's simply not one I enjoy. Anyone feeling slighted by the deal though, I encourage to boycott the game and/or company as I'm doing with all Square products. I'll only buy their products used now so that they don't see a cent from me.

Only our wallets will let these companies know that we don't like their fucking practices.

Hmm, how are you defining comeback? It is selling better than it had been. If you mean the graphics there's nothing they can do about the hardware now. That's set in stone.

Next to nobody cared that Bayonetta 2 was exclusive, just a few small minority, cause almost no one care about that series. The game scoring a 10 though that was a whole other story, but it was mostly fueled but the fan of the series who kept pointing that out.

The only thing that could have got me butt hurt was tomb raider, but I know by the time I buy the game it will be $20

Definitely PS4's continued domination (with the exception of last month). When you have a lot of Nintendo/Xbox fans grasping at straws by saying it has no games and Sony is bleeding money you could definitely sense that there's a lot of butthurt veiled behind the bashing.

Keep on crying cuz I love the taste of Nintendo/Xbox fanboys salty tears.

All the blockbuster flops this year. Destiny, Watch_Dogs, Ass Creed, Halo...

Flop definition: A total failure

Destiny sales: Approximately 8 million

Watch Dogs sales: Approximately 7 million

Assassin's Creed: Unity sales: Approximately 3 million

Halo: Master Chief Collection sales: Approximately 1.5 million

And that's just physical sales. Who knows how many digital copies have been sold.

I think some of you could have payed more attention in English class.

Lol, so how are you defining it? By critical success? Like it has to average at least 90% at Metacritic to not be a "flop?" Bayonetta and Bayonetta 2 have done that but the series hasn't achieved nearly the same level of commercial success. Because of that there's a very good chance there won't be another Bayonetta. But I'm quite confident there will be another Destiny, Watch Dogs, Assassin's Creed, and Halo.

The only thing that made me sad was Thief Reboot. I don't care about rest of the crap. Yeah, I was shocked about Tomb Raider exclusivity but it's going to be on PC at some point, so no worries. It's sad that PS4 gamers may not be able to play it. Same goes for Xbox One users (Street Fighter V).

@Wickerman777: A game that gets a hype thread, gets a hype score. If it the GS review score is bellow the hype score, it's a flop. Simple.

There's also a "quasi flop" if you want to call it that, where a game gets such low scores everywhere on MC, that it gets called a "flop".

I just went back and looked at that System Wars thread. I skimmed it eons ago but forgot its contents cuz I just dismissed it as some silly thing some kid wrote. Instead of defending it y'all should consider changing it so that it makes at least a marginal amount of sense. How can you have a debate about anything if right away you're operating under a rule that reality must be ignored?

3. 1080p vs 900p (Beginning was strong when cows would boast that anything under 1080p is unplayable.)

Just a heads up, Rise of the Tomb Raider is coming to 360 therefore is not exclusive to xbone. A lot of users are shocked to find this out as many assumed after all the fuss the game is only for Xbone (like SF5 is only for PS4 and not PS3). That's a sticking point to me because I'm actually tired of cross gen games on these new platforms (old 2005 hardware holding back modern 2014 design) and that TR game is due this time next year meaning we'll still be dealing with cross gen developed games even by next xmas, at least with TR.

It wasn't exclusive to X1 even if it wasn't coming to X360. Has always just been a timed exclusive.

Not sure what you're trying to tell me here. I'm just pointing it out how flops are determined on SW, and why sales don't factor into it.
