I think I'd go with.

1.Blinx the time sweeper, such an amazing story, truly timeless gameplay, just about everything you could ever want about a game starring a cat with a vacuum cleaner.

2.Kabuki Warriors, (Also known in japan as Bukkaki Warriors,) Another amazing game, with truly interesting battle mechanics.

3.Greg Hastings tournament Painball. I don't think paintball has ever been this visceral and intense.

What other timeless classics would you suggest SW?

Is it bad that I know none of these games? And I owned all of the 3 generations of xbox...

Oh you said bukkaki...I thought you said something else....

#4 Posted by Ghost120x (3654 posts) -

I was going to say blinx but TC already said it.....

Can't think of anything else. I all I had on my xbox was third party games, only first party I had was Halo CE, fable, blinx 1/2.

Not really first party but I would like to jade empire again.

I would love to see Microsoft bring back Viva Pinata. That game would work great with Kinect

1. Banjo Kazooie - But I don't want it to be a collectathon like the old Banjo games and definitely not like the abomination that was the last Banjo game. I would like to see them make a Banjo-Kazooie sidescrolling platformer reminiscent of Donkey Kong Country. I think that kind of a game could generate huge sales for Microsoft if done well.

2. Conker's Bad Fur Day - And make sure to bring back the great multiplayer modes from the original N64 version.

3. Jade Empire - I always thought this had the potential to be a great franchise and I'm very surprised that there never was a sequel.

1. Crimson Skies

2. Perfect Dark

3. Full Spectrum Warrior

Full Spectrum Warrior was developed by Pandemic and the IP owned and published by THQ; the IP is now owned by Nordic Games. MS never had anything to do with them but I'd love for another one as well.

My list is the same as Adobe's with Project Gotham Racing replacing #3.

Ah, well I only ever saw FSW on the original Xbox, so it seemed a good candidate. But seriously I wish someone would make a next gen iteration of that unique action strategy title.

Rallisport

Crimson Skies

Phantom Dust

PGR

Age of Empires

And a ton of Rareware titles like Conker, Jet Force Gemini & Blast Corps.

Hell yeah, I'd love to see a next gen version as well. It's a shame Pandemic and THQ both went down. I don't really have a whole lot of faith in Nordic.

It's funny that we're talking about FSW, was just playing it on OG Xbox a few weeks ago.

Phantom Dust. I would love a new version of that.

The SP wasn't very good (a training mode of sorts for the MP), but the MP was amazing.

#35 Posted by SEANMCAD (5464 posts) -

resurrection in technology is very risky.

who was it that said 'in technology only innovation is rewarded'

#36 Edited by Opus_Rea-333 (893 posts) -

Jet Set Radio Future nice soundtrack and single player was so original and amazing but it doesnt make sense to release another, it sold poorly.

This plus Crimson Skies and I want to say Viva Pinata, but I'd be worried they'd make a viva pinata F2P where i have to buy pinatas -_-

1. Crimson Skies

2. Kameo

3. Viva Pinata

Easiest list ever.

Crimson Skies, absolutely loved it, and MechAssault. Oh hot damn do I miss MechAssault.

Who would have thought this thread would turn into a eulogy for Rareware.

It's a shame where they are now, for sure.

#44 Posted by handssss (1654 posts) -

MS needs to either get the hell away from Rare or bring back all those IPs they own that they either let die or ran into the ground and then let die.

Anything at this point.

Crimson Skies I would sign off on. Good call. Viva I'm on the fence depending if RARE would do it or it if was outsourced. Even then, I would want old RARE, not new Kinect RARE...and then there is the F2P fear as well.

A new version of Mech Assault could go over well, if not Halo Wars.

Well, at least they tried. There were some great Rare games on 360. But they sold like shit, and they decided to pretty much kill Rare.

All the talent will have left by now. But other companies have done a great job at handling the IP (Donkey Kong Country, Killer Instinct) though I wouldn't have made KI a free 2 play game.

I don't care that MS wants to focus on Xbox instead of PC. There are plenty of great games on PC without them.

The only thing I want from them is another AOE or AOM. And if they aren't going to do it, I'd rather they sell the IP than sit on it.

Hehe, same here :p

Rare was a big reason why I went with a 360. If MS is just going to bury their franchises and focus on Halo/Forza/gears again I'm never getting an Xbone.
