TLOU Video Breakdown: The Last of Us will be the GOTG

The graphics are a bit meh but the gameplay looks great.

You can even see the clickers through walls with Xray vision and do stealth melee attacks on them like Splinter Cell.

I dont want to hype this game to much, but yea I agree that this game is looking superb, The enemy A.I looks very good to, Naughty Dog have already confirmed that the combat and the E3 gameplay demo wasnt scripted which is just wow, Im getting this game day 1.

The only on screen button prompt's I have seen so far in a gameplay video was when Joel had to sneek up behind a Clicker and push a button to use a shive, and when you have to push the triangle button to open a door.

The combat is similar to Uncharted's but with much better fighting animations and can interact with your surroundings.

The game will be good and all, no doubt about that, but it won't even win GOTY this year let alone be the best game of all gen. It has stuff like Dark Souls, Uncharted 2, Bioshock etc. to beat and those are pretty big claims. 

The more I see of TLOU though the less enthused I am for some reason.

It's because the more they have revealed of this game the worse it is looking.

Beside getting past the obvious bullshot phase and having to see the game as it REALLY looks, the infected just look so damn dumb and not at all scary or challenging. That whole  seeing through walls thing was also lol worthy...

I think it's just the more I see the less I feel like I have to see more of it. I still think it will be a 9.0-9.5 game but I just don't have the drive to play it anymore.

And the infected look dumb because they are dumb, the ones we've been shown can't even see and they are definitely very scary. That clicking sound in te dark with the possibility of instant death? That's tense. And if you don't like the mechanic then don't use it, it can be toggled off

Funny that the only thing lemmings can do in threads now is talk about PS3 games.  

I'm extremely excited for this game. The only thing I don't like about it is listen mode but I hear you can turn it off. I hope to god you can because it ruins any sort of real immersion.
