Titanfall will be game of the year

With the Xbox One being the superior system for graphics, gaming and home entertainment, its only fitting it will be the go to platform for future game of the year Titanfall. what are every ones thoughts?

Too bad nobody in the world seems to agree since they are all getting a PS4.

Yeah, it probably will be.

Whether it'll be worthy of the title has yet to be determined, but considering all the over hype it's gotten so far, I wouldn't doubt it.

FPS on PC > FPS on console though

I hope not since it's MP only, that will be very disappointing.

It's ridiculous to say Titanfall will be goty next year when we don't even know what other games are coming out, stop it. We don't know how The Order will look, how good Infamous will be, how great Halo will become, maybe the new Smash Brothers will blow us all away. Way to early to even say anything like that.

it will more than likely be a ps4 game or even a ps3 game considering Sony always releases new exclusives a couple of years into next gen

Feel so sorry for the Titanfall devs. Even one of the developers posted a tweet with a sad face when he found out the upper management had sold the game away as an exclusive. Must be depressing seeing the console you're not allowed to publish on selling millions on top of huge positive momentum and press since February. All those potential sales lost.

If Titanfall wins games of the year, then I guess 2014 will have been a shitastic year for gaming and one to be forgotten.

Dark Souls 2 will be GOTY.

Who cares. I'll keep playing the games I enjoy which almost never even get nominated for GOTY awards on any site. I'm not that big a fan of those cinematic story driven blockbuster games and they tend to get a lot of the attention. I'm a gameplay/ level design kind of guy. Always have been. Those awards are so irrelevant to me.

P.S. Titanfall might get nominated, but I'm kind of doubting it.

Played out crappy space age Red Faction/Destiny/Halo/ looking game.... crap. Low pre-orders, over hyped... nope. Not going to make it.

No it won't. MP-only games don't win GOTY, otherwise Dota 2 or LoL would have.

Shooter of the year is within it's grasp if it delivers on the game mode with NPCs running about. It'll be like a first person Dota game mode. With no single player and what'll likely be $60 price tag, I'm looking forward to a ton of creative and complex multiplayer modes. They HAVE to deliver here. Jetpacks and mechs alone won't cut it.

PC version has a chance to be good. The XBone version will struggle with frame rate drops, low resolutions, and less shaders from the GPU.

Destiny and Halo 5 have a better chance. Other games that aren't sci-fi FPS do too.

While I don't doubt that Titanfall will be good I really don't want it to be game of the year, because if it is it likely means we had a horrible year gamewise.
