I usually don't pay full retail but I'm going through a drought. Going to start download before work tomorrow morning so I can play it when I get home.

While this is true, Titanfall's 12 player limit, static environments, and use of the Source Engine means there is very little chance of any real major technical issues on the networking side of things.

Also no single player and only 3 platforms for development means they didn't have to spread their QA out as much.

While the gameplay is pretty ambitious in its design, the game is certainly not that ambitious on the tech side of things.

Before the DC was pre-emptive. Now it's official, lol.

Will the PC version be any different than the console version. I really would like to play the game on a custom server with no AI bots.

There are no custom servers, at least not at the moment. There have been mention of private lobbies added latter. The PC version will have better resolution/graphics/framerate

Yeah. The score was higher than I thought it would be.

Still. It's only an 88 on meta, and it's sure to go under 85. Not a great game. Just okay. Sorry, lems. Titanfall won't do anything for the Xbone. Last place is your destiny.

Lol. Look at this damage control.

Its pretty fast to download. I downloaded it in less than an hour.

Exactly as predicted, by myself and the majority of the board. Another excellently rated multi-platform game for the new generation, to go with Rayman Legends and Assassin's Creed IV.

About as I expected, game plays awesomely. Can't wait to pick it up when it's cheap.

Well the download is supposedly only about 20 something GB if that, but Origin I think unpacks it at the same time. The problem is that most of the 50GB (like 35GB worth) is uncompressed audio because for some reason through origin you have to download all the fucking languages. And they don't allow for choosing install location, so sorry SSD

Wow, I was expecting a few 9's for this game, but overall it seems to be reviewing way better than I thought. Not sure what to make of Gerstman's comments since I played the Beta on the XB1 for many hours and never noticed anything more than a momentary dip in frame rate and some tearing (neither of which hampered the gameplay for me). I guess I'll find out soon enough.

Get used to it. Now that blu-ray is standard on the consoles, most games are going to fill every gig of that space with whatever assets they can cram onto it.

The perfect reason why using MC is flawed: KZ2 reviews look at all the PS sites giving perfect scores - sixthaxis, PSbloggen, POM, Au, PGNx, POM US and lots of other scoring high

Its why SW should stick to a unified source.

Exactly but xboners will never face the truth. It's too hurtfull for them. Look at the lack of 10s for the game by this time TLOU had like 20 10s already.

I just realized I have close to 30 dollars in Microsoft points/currency, so perhaps I'll just buy the digital version. I don't really plan on selling it ever. Hopefully I can actually apply that currency to the purchase.

Serious question. Have you played the game? I'm guessing you haven't, but I could be wrong. I think the bots are great because they add a way for you got get your XP up, but don't provide so much resistance that the game turns into a "watch your back fest". They also provide a tempting decoy for you to go after them so you can get a Titanfall quicker. If you haven't played the game, just do it and stop worrying about trivial things such as what the bots are doing. It all fits together nicely. I'm a skeptic by nature, but this game is like a new school Unreal tournament

So you don't trust gaming journalists, or people who have played the beta or the actual game this past weekend. Why don't you simply say you don't like Titanfall and that's that? No need to try and place yourself on some gaming podium as if you're special and other opinions aren't. No need to act like a little kid, seriously. If you don't like Titanfall, fine. But a ton of real gamers obviously do, hence the reviews. Might be time to grow up.
