Haven't played this since the beta/demo. $19.99 seems about right. You remember this game, SW?

Titan who?

So PSN is having a sale, eShop is having a sale, PC is having a sale.

Only Xbox isn't having a sale. Hmmm.

On topic, game is fun but definitely not worth full price. $20 sounds about right.

I'd pay $5 for TitanFail. I'm sure it'll get there eventually, I can wait.

I wouldn't go so far as to call one game on Origin of all places "a PC sale". Steam has sales every Wednesday and every weekend, that's just par for the course for PC.

I'd literally rather play Tetris :)

i'm right with ya. well, actually i'm a little harsher than that.

i stopped caring about the game during the free weekend they had a while back, some experience taught me the game's not for me. i don't think i'd even give them a dollar. :\

Dayum, already? The game must have really tanked sales wise...

so much hype for nothing

holy cow, required disk space is 55GB

Yeah, it's severely unoptimized. It's not even the best looking or sounding game in the world, and it definitely doesn't have 55GB's worth of content. Just shitty optimization.

yes, there's 30GB of uncompressed audio

#12 Posted by UnbiasedPoster (829 posts) -

Boy this game sure fell into irrelevancy faster than I thought it would.

I guess that's what happens you when you release a $60 retail game with no single player component and a severe lack of content in that very same multiplayer.

That's 30gb of uncompressed audio as a "design choice" - because the Xbox One didn't have the processing power to decompress an audio file while playing the game, and the PC version got stuck with the same crap.

No thanks, EA. Maybe when it's $5 or becomes Free on origin like BF3 at some point I may consider downloading it.

Battlefield 3 and other BF games went on sale for $5 multiple times and have even been offered for free before for a limited time. It's not unheard of.

It may take another year or two for Titanfail to get that low or completely free, but I can wait.

I will pick it up whenever it's $5. Install it and let it run as a screensaver on my pc. Im disappointed with the existance of ai. They should be ban from all online multiplayer competition.

#21 Posted by WallofTruth (1674 posts) -

Still too much for that crap.

#22 Edited by harry_james_pot (10832 posts) -

It's also available in the Origin Game Time for 48 hours. But there's no way I'm downloading 50GB to try that thing..

Not worth $20 for ANOTHER run and gun. Jesus Christ, do PC, Sony and Xbox gamers ever get any other types of games???

#24 Posted by PrincessGomez92 (3572 posts) -

Fun game, definitely a good price.

#25 Posted by pyro1245 (793 posts) -

pass. wish there was a SP though because the controls are pretty sharp.

why are you complaining about Sony and Xbox gamers when this thread is for a PC sale

Meant PC, Sony, and Xbox. Thanks for letting me know, so I can fix it.

sale or not its still too early. The game came out in March for gods sake. Rarely a game that is a comercial success goes on sale so early, even on PC

#30 Posted by Doolz2024 (9604 posts) -

Downloading the game time trial now. 52.52 GB??? Time to order another 500GB SSD, lol.

#31 Posted by LJS9502_basic (151048 posts) -

Still not interested.....

#32 Posted by LegatoSkyheart (25354 posts) -

I would buy it if I wasn't poor.

#33 Posted by Pray_to_me (2846 posts) -

Wow. Game must've been a serious dud.

#34 Posted by GTSaiyanjin2 (5972 posts) -

its not worth $20... its a cheap console port with very little content.

#35 Posted by chessmaster1989 (29279 posts) -

Well it got old within about 5 hours in the beta, so I'd say it's still not worth it.

#36 Edited by Basinboy (11168 posts) -

Should have been that price awhile ago to warrant a purchase from me. Now, there are too many other games to play and other things I have to do.

Besides the usual weekly sales, XBL is having a Rockstar publisher sale, too.

#38 Posted by uninspiredcup (8616 posts) -

But it's EA.

#39 Edited by EducatingU_PCMR (721 posts) -

I'd pay $10 if it'd include all the DLC, shit game with little content for being online only.

#40 Posted by silversix_ (14592 posts) -

For the amount of content this game has it should be sold for 4.99 at this point

Very true my friend. The pc has plenty of MP focused games for £10-£15 as opposed to £45.

Red Orchestra 2 for men.

#42 Posted by Gaming-Planet (14022 posts) -

If the game was 20gb, maybe I'd care. Would take me like a full day to download it, and I don't want to get yelled at for hogging all the bandwidth.

#43 Edited by m3dude1 (1312 posts) -

def worth it. all the people bashing it most likely just log on and get their shit pushed in because they are just horrible at games

#44 Posted by GrenadeLauncher (4880 posts) -

Titanflop.

Just sign up for an EA Access account, friend, you'll get a great $5 off the latest digital releases!

That is very tempting.

yeah me too.

Regardless of how good Titanfall is, the type if game it is, is not for me.

If it was free, I wouldn't even install it i'd save my hard drive space for something else

very soon, surprised it didnt hit 20$ sooner. the game is awful

#48 Edited by foxhound_fox (88319 posts) -

A novel game concept executed in a content-lite, multiplayer-only package isn't worth much more than $10.

Especially on a platform that often offers deals on most games for less than $10 (you can buy the entire Crusader Kings II package (plus several other games) for $7 in the current Humble Bundle, a $210 value).

#49 Edited by MK-Professor (3825 posts) -

I get it for $12, but it should cost $5 max. I don't understand how people bought this for full price.

It is enjoyable don't get me wrong, but they are asking way too much many for that.

#50 Posted by Daforsaken1 (71 posts) -

I'll get it three years later when it'll be free on origin.
