​Between our world and the world beyond lie the Titan Souls, the spiritual source and sum of all living things. Now scattered amongst the ruins and guarded by the idle titans charged with their care, a solitary hero armed with but a single arrow is once again assembling shards of the Titan Soul in a quest for truth and power.

After playing the demo, being decently impressed and seeing not a single mention of it on the boards, I felt this game warranted a hype thread, so here it is! This neat little game which seems inspired by Dark Souls and, mainly, Shadow of the Colossus, is coming out in 3 days, and I'd like to know what you expect!

Personally, I'm hyping it an AA. It's got very simple mechanics which work, and the art style is great, even if it's pixelated. From what we've been able to see, the bosses look varied and tough (though personally I didn't die that much in the demo), and it seems like material capable of receiving quite a lot of critical acclaim. Then again, it might be too short, since it's exclusively boss battles, and there's the possibility that such few controls make it lack some depth.

Super hyped for the idea behind this game and its development cycle ever since I heard about it from Rev3. Hopefully it lives up to the games that it's compared to, like Shadow of the Colossus and Dark Souls, aka two of the greatest games of all time.

Wonder what Eurogamer's 5/10 was all about.

Most indies are Whack.... the only indie I am waiting for really is Rime and Rapture

Game looks really fresh.... I have next week and I'm going on vacation... My vita is gonna get so much love.

I wonder if Namco and/or Kadokawa will sue.

Eh, it's what most people have been saying ever since it's first been seen. I get it, the way you have to learn through death what patterns of attack the Titans have to finally be able to beat 'em. Honestly though, the bosses reminded me more of LoZ, due to being puzzles, having weakspots and no healthbar to tell you basically what % of the fight you're through. I like that style more. The difference is I don't remember dying three times on LoZ bosses before being able to beat them.

Care to hype?

You'll be glad to know that I paid a "visit" to that girl the other day and her cat (in both senses of the word) is healthy and normal, no traumatizing effects or permanent mohawks from what I can tell.

I just saw it in Steam, it kinda looks cool. Now I'm pretty sure it's gonna be 8 at least.

I'm actually really looking forward to this.

this game looks cool but its pretty much everything that annoys me about indie games today. im tired of intentionally shitty 2D graphics and comparisons to dark souls

The art style is hardy shitty. Just because it's pixelated doesn't mean it looks bad. Not everything is determined by polygon counts, or the presence of polygons at all.

Thought it was another Souls game from FS at first. Was thinkin' "damn, what's next? Bugs Souls? Buttercups Souls? Neckbeard's Souls?".

I think everybody can agree the timing for a name like this wasn't ideal if what they were looking for was a game with its own distinct identity. It isn't exactly all that original either :P Still, the game looks awesome and I can't wait to try it.

I'll hype it an A.

It looks interesting but I'm not sure it's simple nature and boss oriented design will leave you much to come back for.

Aww :( Still, I had fun with the demo, and some of the images of the bosses I've seen look cool, so I'll be trying this nonetheless.
