"Timex" for abbreviating "timed exclusive", yay or nay?

You think a term like "timex" could ever become popular/catch on in shortening/abbreviating "timed exclusive" or people'd be more likely to use "TE" or "T.E."?

"Another timex? Oh well. I'll just wait 'til it releases on my *insert gaming platform here*.."

well to answer your other question...i think you will see this more with sony than ms since i dont think sony has that kind of money to buy 3rd party exclusives outright

Yeah. I think a PS4-PC exclu would be the most realistic but not a complete exclusive.

I think Sony'd rather budget their 1st party studios than buy something like an expensive, trending IP.

A timed exclusive is just a multiplat.

Dunno what the significance is of a timed exclusive anyway, does it shift consoles ? Does timed exclusive DLC shift consoles ?

Maybe if someone knew, we could add some meaning to the word "timed exclusive"

Good question. Probably could shift some by effectively targeting a certain group of impulsive people.

IDK about timed DLC tho. I don't think that's as big as a full timed exclusive game.
