Thoughts on the new exclusive Guilty Gear xrd demo on PS4?

Guilty Gear xrd the newest entry to the Guilty Gear franchise is releasing next week exclusively on PlayStation and the demo is out now on PS4 so any thoughts on the demo?

Gotta say game looks gorgeous! and a lot of fun, story seemed very interesting

I'm looking forward to getting that, don't know if it will blow Smash out the water like you said but definitely looking like a great fighting games. With Guilty Gear, Smash and Killer Instinct season 2, my fighting fix has been meet for the holidays.

I'm not much into fighting games, so I'll probably skip this. Mortal Kombat is the only one I really care to play.

I'm buying the game twice.

Didn't know there was a demo downloading now.

I'm buying it on PS3 because I'm not paying PS+ to play just 1 game online.

I read the game will be cross-play anyway.

I notice the game comes out the same day as my birthday. This is gonna be a great gift to myself. And a week before it's the 2 days PlayStation Experience event. December is gonna be a fun month.

if games not coming to pc its not a true fighting game most the scene has moved onto to pc

@ProtossRushX: It hasn't. For the few games that have come out on PC, some people play on those, especially in the case of KOFXIII because the netcode is best there. People will still be using PS360's for tournaments. I can only think of one instance where people consistently play a PC game that isn't doujin or anything like that, and that's USF4 for local play at WNF.

I follow the scene very closely and you're just talking shit.

99% of the scene is on consoles and 100% of the events are on consoles too.

On top of it, the second most popular game in the FGC is Marvel vs Capcom 3, a console exclusive game.

Guilty Gear is considered to be a LEGENDARY series on the FGC and it's exclusive to PlayStation. At least for now.

Why does Ky look like a woman? The ponytail sucks. That has me smh, and I don't really care to play the demo, but the final game I'll prolly end up buying. One of the best fight franchises ever. Hope they put Baiken in there for the home version.

I have been enjoying it,even if it only took me less than 25 mins or so to beat the trial ver. With both Sol and Ky. Good thing I have a Arcade Stick now for PS4. Makes it a lot easier for me to play.Been a fan since the first GG game.

ya its some ps3 game that sony is porting 100% over to ps4 with the same game no graphics improvements its basically ps3 game its not a ps4 one i dunno why they say it is should just say runs on ps4

never cared for the series, it's cute to see cows counting on a third party exclusive that has no reason to be an exclusive - as if it was a Messiah, and a genre that doesn't interest that many people anymore

ps3 had a bunch of these lazy ass games and I never bought any of them. the only fighter I liked on ps3 was marvel vs capcom 3 (a multiplat)

I'm sick of these last gen ports already. The only games Ive seen that truly looked next gen was Quantum Break and still photos of Killzone for ps4 (though it played like shit)

animation looks gorgeous BUT I could never get into the guilty gear franchise. Tried to like it but didn't work out for me. I know many here love it but I'm just those few people who didn't enjoy it. It felt SLOOoooowww and can't compare to Persona4 Arena and BlazBlue Phantom.

I didn't even know you could do crossplay like that. I thought there were different networks. You can't see vita or ps4 players signed in on your ps3 friend list. I'm guessing it's going to show them in game so you can invite them.
