with all the multiplatform games going around, it all sums up to 1st party support.

Besides the wii.

The 360 and PS3 will probably have almost all their 3rd party games be multiplatform due to development costs, now its up to how their first party support is held up.  Luckily, sony has a healthy array of first party franchises to keep them alive, as does 360.

The only doubt on sony is that they DO NOT own insomniac, the creator of resistance and Ratchet and Clank, however sony does own the franchise of ratchet and clank itself.  Sony does own naughty dog, and many other developers.  Microsoft owns bungie and RARE, which are 2 good developers.  Out of all the big names, microsoft's first party only has 1 big seller, halo.  Sony has a healthy seller of first party titles, including god of war, ratchet and clank, and the grand turismo series.

this battle isnt about 3rd party support at all, its a battle of first party games.

I'm predicting that the Wii will be in 1st by far, with 360 2nd and PS3 3rd by not too far behind. I don't think games are going to be the cause of the outcomes nearly as much as the Wii being 250 dollars, looking white and small (like iPods and all the other wonderful things people buy), and because of the Wiimote which might appeal to casuals because it's all motion-sensy and stuff (although it has already proven to me that it's nowhere as good as a conventional controller with thumbsticks for almost any game).

Ditto, Nigro. I agree to the fullest. It comes down to in house development. Nintendo has that edge right now, all they need is a game to compete with God of War and they will practically reinvent their trademark mascot.
