This generation is one of the worst I have ever played

And I feel sorry for those of us who actually bought a fucking console (ps4 in my case). Seriously the last 3 generations were LIGHT YEARS ahead of this one in terms of quality games.

I only have bloodborne, and destiny, which i cant bring myself to play because we all know how bad it is

They aren't games most of the time. The industry is too big for its own good. People have a hard time admitting it but most of the releases just play themselves.

Just wait a little longer mate, they be some good games coming, if they score good ofcourse. I cant think of many for 2015 but Metal Gear 5 and Black Ops 3 comes to mind. Also new Madden and NBA2k if you like that stuff.

The only thing i use my ps4 nowadays is to watch netflix or crunchyroll... It has uncharted and MGS coming up but is that it? 3 fucking games in god knows how long (counting bloodborne)? Dont even get me started on the shitONE, that seriously is just pathetic. I hope i can get my 980 Ti or Fury X soon enough so I can actually play games

I had a Wii U and that thing was a joke, had good stuff just very little, just sold it off and got a ps4 with destiny, Bloodbourne, and Final Fantasy Type 0 so far I like it

yes, all of this gen's consoles are pathetic. I haven't bought any of the consoles yet. I have played them only from friends who owned them (WiiU and Xboxone)

Right now I have plans to buy a ps4 or xb1 when fallout 4 comes out.

If you only stick to AAA games and only stick with consoles, then yes. I also started getting bitter about gaming in recent years, but then I broadened my horizons and shit has been better than ever.

there was no reason to sell the wiiU you get not as much money back and you still can play those games whenever you want just shoulda saved up for a ps4 separately IMO

I'm kind of agree, no matter if you are a console gamer or a PC gamer, games this last year have been ok, i own a WiiU and a PC and there hasn't been that many amazing games for both platforms, so far only Bayonetta 2 and Smash 4 have been truly exceptional, PS4 and X1 have been so disappointing, heck only until this E3 i finally saw a PS4 game that i really want, Horizon.

Captain Toad, The Wonderful 101, Pikmin 3, Mario Kart 8, Smash Bros, Wind Waker, Donkey Kong, Kirby Rainbow Curse, Bayonetta 2, Nintendoland, New Super Mario bros Wii U, New Super Mario Bros Luigi, Super Mario 3D World, Splatoon, and Hyrule Warriors.

I promise you can buy these games, play them, enjoy them, and turn around and sell them for probably more than you paid. By time you finish the games and sell them for profit, Xbox One and PS4 will have better collections. Also, with all the money you make, you would be able to buy those great Xbox One and PS4 games at bargain prices, we all know them prices come down nicely. Of course you really wont be able to sell them and make profit, but atleast you got to enjoy a bunch of content.

Take you time boys, using this all in one combo, greatness truly awaits.

I bought PS4 and XB1. They just sit there collecting dust. Not many quality exclusives. Forza 5 is the only exclusive that I have spent any considerable amount of time on. You know, it is actually fun and runs at 1080p/60fps which is rarity this gen. So, I do 95% of gaming on PC. I have Bloodborne, but I can't stand the frame pacing issues and haven't played it much as a result. After playing DS on PC, it is painful to play BB on console.

Get a new hobby, it's been one of the best years in gaming in over a decade.

Mainly Bethesda games. Fallout 4, DOOM, and Dishonored 2. Though admittedly Idk what DH2's release date is. As were only shown a trailer I can only ass-ume it's coming out next year.

Mad Max also looks fantastic.

Doom and Dishonored are 2016 i think. Fallout 4 looks cool, im not sure about the whole scraping the objects and creating buildings, but other then that it looks cool. Will be fun to keep an eye out for it. Im actually keeping an eye on Mad Max also, i like the ideal of it.

I'm happy enough. This gen I got a Wii U, a PS4, 3DS, Vita, and a strong laptop. Between them I have plenty of games to play.

Wii U and PC is what I use and I'm content. Wii U has been rocking it for me with excellent exclusives and PC has given me the best version of almost all 3rd party games on top of great steam sales and mods. I most likely will go with PC and the NX when it comes out. There is just no reason to get either of the twins. Almost everything they make ends up on PC anyway. I would ditch the twins if I were you.

DOOM is definitely getting released this year, though I forgot the actual release date.

Fallout 4 has been getting away from RPG elements since FO3. FNV doesn't count as it was arguably the best RPG of last gen IMO. I hear they took out skills which has me worried....

So a handful of exclusives *some are timed* vs PC which gives us not just Shenmue, SF5, FF7r, No Mans Sky etc. but also gives us Ryse, Gears of War, Dead Rising 3 and lots of other Xbox One games. Face it man. PC is the way to go this generation. If you had to choose one machine to play your games on, PC would be the place.

But if you are gonna come at me with CoD 5467, Madden 3345, and FIFA 7894, dont expect me to even bother watching the fucking trailers. If they at least had the decency of NOT rehashing stuff like textures animations and engines, may be I´d consider it, but NO, You know how that stuff goes down

Yup, sounds like the same struggle every other ps4 gamer faces. Thats why I'm glad I have an Xbone and a pc, so many games to play

I own an Xbone, PS4 and PC... so far the consoles have been a massive disappointed, despite giving them a chance even though they are severely underpowered, the game library has been terrible, remaster after remaster and just rehased franchises, who half ass the games themselves.

Yeah im a Dark Souls fan, Bloodborne does look great. Plus you got Metal Gear 5 coming. I mainly play Wii U, 3DS, and PC, but i bought PS3 after my DS and Wii last time and enjoyed a bunch of great games. I just follow the games, consoles kinda cheap to me, the games are what eats my pockets. Mainly Nintendo ones since i buy new a lot. Plus i spend a bunch with Blizzard, im addicted to games :(

Current gen Ps4 and Xbone are shitty PCs, 93% of console games end up as multiplats, just fucking get and actual PC.

Wanting to get in on Nintendo's stuff, but their console is rather awful, their handheld on the other hand is doing quite well.
