PlayStation announces Naughty Dog's incredible 95 Metacritic acclaimed title, The Last Of Us, has sold over 6 million worldwide since its release last year:

As we did in 2012, we’ll have a large pack of Dogs giving talks at GDC 2014. We just wrapped up The Last of Us: Left Behind to universal critical acclaim. It currently has a score of 89 on Metacritic making it the highest rated PS3 downloadable content ever. We also recently received five BAFTA awards, including the coveted Best Game in 2014, for our work on The Last of Us.

We’re now heading to GDC to talk about some of the techniques and process that went into making The Last of Us, which has now hit over six million copies sold worldwide, as well as what made Left Behind, our first ever downloadable, single player story chapter, so unique.

Nothing can stop TLOU and Naughty Dog. The most awarded game in history, beating out Skyrim, most perfect 10's, most goty, 6+ million sales.

An industry changer...proving that gamers expect more from games, now, than just gameplay.

Take note, devs. This is how you become legendary.

Sony really needs to get some better 1st party dev teams. cows literally have no other studio to brag on and it be legitimate, besides Naughty Dog. whenever cows try and say they have the best 1st party and you ask them about the games its always a Naughty Dog game...maybe GOW...then some other flops added for padding that no one really cares about, or brought, including them. as of late they're even prone to throw a number out of random indies games for padding....which is odd with how they bashed the XB360 for their indie Arcade games last gen, lol. yea...y'all better talk about Naughty Dog...you better. because Infamous's flop is coming next week.

I wonder if it's any good though. People keep trying to make me play it. The gameplay does sound leaps and bounds ahead of Uncharted. So it has that going for it. I just hope they don't "Tenzen-in-the-ice-cave" it up. If you know what I mean.

Actually, the most awarded game in history is and has always been: TLoZ:OoT. ;)

Never thought ND would bounce back at the end of the gen with a whooping 95 title. Much less taking a risk with a new IP.

Well deserved success. Its a great game. I am really enjoying Left behind. Started it last night when I got home from school. Wanted a break from Titanfall, and this DLC hits the spot. Well done ND.

The TLOU was a great game. Lots of fun. Not surprised it sold 6 million. It's on the same level with Uncharted 2. Was in my Top 5 for GOTY last year. Too bad it flopped here on Gamespot. There were a lot of great games that flopped on GS though. No surprise there.

Drake's Fortune was an excellent game. All of the Uncharteds were.

One of the best games last gen. Maybe the best.

Well deserved sales. Now to wait to the inevitable sequel. Though Sony gave ND total freedom to do what they want for the next projects.
