There's a reason I backed out from Alien: Isolation thread

That is, I don't want to view a single second of any review, and I don't want to see any score from any gaming site. EVER. I won't be influenced by biased, corrupted mainstream media that also happen to be less forgiving towards more ambitious titles and until I review the game myself, I won't be reading any other reviews. Expect two clips about Alien: Isolation tomorrow on my youtube channel, my username there is SaltTheFries86....

It's a 6, and its a bad game but looks ok.

It's gonna be a love it or hate it game, I find it fubard that PC gamer gave it what a 94 while GS gave it a 6

I put the scores in spoiler tags for Saltyfries if he ever wants to look at em. The difference in score is just....wow

I backed out from Alien: Isolation because GameSpot and IGN gave the game 6.0 and 5.9 respectfully - the main reason however is because this isn't the Alien game we have all been waiting for since Alien versus Predator 2.

It's got a 79 on Metacritic.

Gamespot and IGN are like two of the only critics to give it low scores, and 6 is playable at least.

I think it's worth a play and give it constructive criticism to where it needs to be, I'm still buying it as a hardcore horror fan.

I don't know anyone who takes Ryan McCaffrey's opinion seriously anyway.

Alien is like Sonic, no matter how good they might look in the beginning, you're happy if it ends up average
