I believe that the Xbone has already hit its graphical ceiling while the PS4's hidden power has yet to be fully exploited.

We've received reports that PS4 ports took 2-3 people to complete. If you were a managing director at a multiplat studio, what would you do? The truth is, PS4 games are unoptimized.

Xbone games, on the other hand, needed 99% of a studio's manpower to and time. You can bet your ass that all multiplat studios and 1st party studios did every single optimization trick in their books to get the Xbone version running at (semi) smoothly at 720p. In addition, the Xbone has no secret sauce like the PS4's massive GPGPU capabilities.

It's incredible that PS4 games look better than Xbone games even while using a small fraction of its power and with unoptimized code while the Xbone is using all its power (Flopza devs) efficiently.

The PS4 is a graphical monster.

I'm looking at this objectively.

PS4 games took 2-3 people per game. After they were done with the ports, these guys were moved to the Xbone dev team.

PS4 games are unoptimized, yet they run smoothly at 1080p while the Xbone struggles to obtain 720p even with highly optimized code and massive dev manpower. If only 2-3 people were working on the PS4 version, where are all the other coders? You think studios only have 2-3 coders on their team? Average studio has around 100 coders, meaning 90+ of them were working on the Xbone version. lol...

DF already confirmed PS4 version's stutter came from running the game higher than 60 FPS. If that's not confirmation to you that the PS4 version wasn't optimized, then you must be riding Ballmer pretty hard.

Activision got 1 person on their dev team to port the game over at 1080p, high settings, and 60+ FPS and didn't even bother checking to see if everything ran smoothly. Activision needed all the manpower to get the Xbone running at an "acceptable" performance.

Its pretty obvious the drivers and developer kits for the Xbox One are far from optimised. The complexity of the Xbox One's setup and this lack of optimisation would require more man power while they get to grips with the setup and the better drivers and dev kits come through.

Your objectivity is based on very little knowledge (from what you are saying), I suggest you read up more before stating what can be deemed as fanboy statements.

Why are you keep typing that? It is an opinion that you take as fact. When Ryse is corridor beat-em up kind of game, it should look good since there is not much to render, and it's Crytek who is making the game. On top of that, the game runs at a sub 1080p resolution at 30fps. The Xbone is not looking good at all. Killzone Shadow Fall which looks arguably better and has a more open and tactical approach is a sign for more things to come. Theres no dev from MS studio that can match Crytek's talent.

well if it was based on difficulty then the ps3 would have topped off at launch too right? it didnt. xbone will be fine and the graphics are going to get better. 1080p/60fps will be achievable for multi plats soon enough. stop predicting doom after a console has been out like a week

Threads like this make me laugh. Sure, currently released games are mostly multiplatform with last generation consoles, thus they are limited by last gen consoles graphics limitations still, and the exclusives out so far were in development before the hardware of newgen consoles was even finished, but hey, lets not even consider any of that and claim x1 has maxed its graphics already. Yeah logic!
