Yay, more niche games. Let's load the library with games no one cares about and then brag about it.

Nintendo fans.

Okay

Yes, because I bought a PS Vita, the 'greatest and most powerful handheld ever' to play a DS game on it. Yup.

Serious question, weren't the DS Tales of games supposed to suck? Wy not give the Vita ports of the PS2/GCN games, like they did with the 3DS?

Not really considering Tales Of Heart R changed the graphics, battle systems, plot elements and added in new characters. It is pretty much a full remake.

Seriously though, eh. Not really into any rhythm game of any kind. I can see it being a fairly decent system/software seller during the Holidays though.

These games were completely remade though, so you are pretty much playing a PS2 version of tales. Heard Tales of Hearts is pretty much your typical tales games "Great combat, Ok story and so on"

I'll get it on the iPhone I don't have

No, Tales Of The Tempest was bad, Tales Of Innocence was average. Tales Of Hearts is one of the best Tales games. It's probably Top 5 along side Abyss, Phantasia (PSP), Rebirth, & Symphonia.

@Blabadon: Please, tell me more about my playing habits.

@FlamesOfGrey: @Sweenix: I see. Well in that case, I guess it's a good thing see were remade for series fans. I'm really not a Tales fan outside of Symphonia and Vesperia, but this should be good for those who like them.

3DS still has better games though :P

I wasn't really feeling the demo of the original when I tried it, but I might still get this just for all the music it contains.

#20 Posted by Zassimick (6245 posts) -

I still need to pick up the original sometime. There's just so much great music in this series.

#21 Posted by Wanderer5 (25667 posts) -

Despite enjoying the demo a bit, I never gotten the first, even through I like a lot of the songs. I probably check this out sooner when it comes out here.

#22 Posted by finalfantasy94 (26241 posts) -

Still havent cracked open the first one.

#23 Posted by Kaze_no_Mirai (10999 posts) -

Loved the first one, the sequel seems to really improve everything. Can't wait till it comes out over here.

#24 Posted by bbkkristian (14910 posts) -

A game for REAL Final Fantasy fans. It's got music from nearly every game, even Mystic Quest.

#25 Posted by Blabadon (25677 posts) -

@charizard1605: Sure, for one thing, you love to overrate games based on honeymoon periods.

#26 Posted by Badosh (12727 posts) -

the last game was pretty enjoyable. a very nice surprise.

i still can't believe the price for what it is.

221 songs, DAYUM.

#29 Posted by Zidaneski (8447 posts) -

Theatrhythm is the ONLY game for the 3DS I actually like, not enough to actually get a 3DS though. Those Dark songs are addicting. If curtain call comes with bundle I might think about it and if there is another game I'm interested in.

#30 Posted by PhazonBlazer (11498 posts) -

Why not just put it on iOS? Much better system than 3DS

That ensemble looks like it was taken right out of South Parks kindergarten class.

Nintendo fans.

I'm not seeing the problem with getting a lot of unique, interesting games.

I'd much prefer a Theatrythm Nintendo.

Hmm, interesting.
