"The Wolf Among Us" released

So today I go to Steam and find that The Wolf Among Us, the new episodic adventure game from the developers of The Walking Dead, has been released.

Well, their first game based on a comic series was a massive success. Can they do the same with their new comic-based title?

The first episode, "Faith," has been reviewed by Gamespot, with a score of 8.

I'll most likely wait for all the episodes to be released and buy it on Steam sale.

But this looks just as good if not better than The Walking Dead.

This, did the same with TWD. Not a fan of the episode model, I want to be able to cut through the entire game in one run, not coming for bits and pieces every month or two.

I haven't taken a good look into it, but isn't it a low-fantasy story (think American Gods and Neverwhere, by Neil Gaiman)? I love that type of setting, and I enjoyed the three out of five TWD episodes I played (enjoyed it enough to go through three episodes of an adventure game, :P) - might give it a look.

25 bucks for just one episode. Come on. They should have priced it 10 bucks or 15 maximum. It will be 125$ a full game. Ridiculous pricing.

This looks quite a bit more interesting than the Walking Dead. I vastly prefer the setting and tone of what this game is going for over the rural, ho-hum zombie apocalypse setting of the Walking Dead.

I'll wait till all the episodes are out to buy it.
