So, in 2014 System wars the only real argument console trolls have in their arsenal is the goty card. System Wars works in generations, therefore this entire list is pretty redundant for the cows and lemmings because of no backwards compatibility.... relying on old systems as ammunition.... so I guess instead of 5 vs 1 its now 8 vs 1?
But anyway, I decided to show you the reality of the GOTY list... and why trying to use it against PC gamers is actually doing PC Gamers a favour. outside of the PS3... nearly all of them are playable on PC... and better. and you cannot play them at all on your X1/PS4. Wii-U is better than both those pathetic dust collectors currently for your own list.
2002 - Metroid Prime - Best on PC - Backwards compatible equal to Wii U? (VC?)
2003 - Zelda: Wind Waker - Better than Wii Version - Backwards compatible not equal to Wii U.
2004 - World of Warcraft - PC Only, 14 million peak, 7 million subs now, more played and more relevant than the others on this list in 2014.
2005 - Resident Evil 4 - Best on PC - Backwards compatible along with Wii/Wii U.
2006 - Gears of War - Best on PC - Backwards compatible unlike X1.
2007 - Super Mario Galaxy - Best on PC 1080p 60 fps - Backwards compatible along with Wii/Wii U.
2008 - MGS4 - PS3 Exclusive.- 6 hour game that nobody talks about... and is not even the best of its franchise.v HYPE syndrome anyone?
2009 - Demon Souls - PS3 Exclusive - Sequels are Multiplatform and better on PC - backwards compatible on PC not X1 or PS4.
2010 - Red Dead Redemption - PS3/Xbox360 multiplatform - not backwards compatible with x1/ps4
2011 - TES: Skyrim - Landslide best on PC - backwards compatible only on PC.
2012 - Journey - PS3 exclusive - 3 hour game ... probably next to nobody's true goty... hipster choice. - not compatible with PS4.
2013 - 3ds game... will leave out.
8 out of 11 of those titles are on PC.
None of those titles are on Playstation 4 or Xbox One.
I suppose you get destiny (Looking more and more like to be a timed exclusive to consoles .... and perhaps one or 2 games a year. but chin up, it may get better, and you may one day have some real ammunition against PC gamers.
Happy hunting for excuses.
