Indeed jacorcrop; it's very peturbing seeing the young console people attempt to actively dismiss real time strategy games.

This could be due to mainstream media purposefully excluding it from coverage (unless Blizzard) to focus on lowest common denominator titles; conditioning the user-base akin to H.G Wells 1984's dystopian nightmare.

Or possible, a lack of experience, due to strategy games on consoles not transalating due to simplstic controls not adapable for games with depth.

Another cynical point of view to take; console gamers simply aren't clever in comparison to pc gamers, a shocking revelation.

Overall: it seems very counter-intuitive to dismiss strategy games; a genre that almost exclusively focuses on game-play mechanics when console games are currently inundated with video games that place "game-play" last on the pyramid scale; currently "The Order" is selling very well, encouraging future titles of it's ilk to take the same route.

Is brand loyalty so strong in some people that they'll choose a pile of shite over a classic game?

Also I think the prices got switched around. The Order should be 30 (even that is stretching it) while Homeworld Remastered should be 60.

Homeworld has more gameplay in it's tutorial than the entirety of The Order. It also has skippable cutscenes and no QTEs.
