The Order graphics appreciation thread.

Here we will do one thing and just one thing only, post pictures, gifs or other related media of The Order 1886 in order to appreciate its sheer beauty and graphics technology. So spare me the black bar, qte or review complaints, there are threads made for those things. The game is now almost universally praised to be the best looking game ever and personally I see it as a new mile stone for realtime game graphics for gen 8. A photomode is also on the way so we'll get to exam the game more thoroughly soon, but for now let's show the world why this is getting the immense amount of praises from everyone.

Not surprising, considering how limited the game is. Beyond linear, hardly any interactivity with the environments themselves. The game doesn't even let you equip your weapons during all that cinematic walking. Like yeah, it looks amazing, but it's what I expected with how the game plays and is designed.

The Voice acting was so fucking awesome but that's about it, really. The graphics are just eye candy.

Yes the graphics are nice. They might have to be even better than this to convince people of all the other things that are wrong.

really is the kind of visuals the One cannot handle. no matter if its running on DX12, The Cloud, 300k private servers or on 5 billion transistors, its just can't produce this kind of visuals. Lems are frustrated right now.

No downside to hyping up your graphics pre release. Ubisoft does it all the time and yet their games still sell like hot cakes.

I'm sure The Order will have many people buying the game on what they were lead to believe the game would look like.

Shut up, there will be games better looking than the Order on BOTH machines by the end of this generation, Developers have barely Learned how to optimise engines for either console.

You never see the true power of consoles the first 2 years into the gen, the best looking games ALWAYS come towards the end of a Consoles life cycle.

Why would lems be frustrated? They already have a Game with stirling visuals, almost as good as the Order in the graphics dept, with NO gameplay

True, this is not really system wars Material and lets face it, the lems don't even have to fightback in this blatant damage control thread they just need to sit back and relax and watch the TC make an even bigger foll of himself

I for one am kind of Grateful to the order, it breaks the obvious cycle of Graphics trump everything else, Reviewers sent a clear message to developers that Pretty graphics with the same old gameplay just isn't going to cut it anymore and that games are not going too be judged only on there visual fidelity.

One thing i will say about the Ps4 though is that it's a very appealing console in the Arcade/Indie arena which is where you find most of the Games which are genuinely fun to play.

I love twin stick shooters and there a few good ones coming down the pipe for Ps4.

I would like to enjoy the graphics, but I am having trouble seeing through all the blur.

every single gen but this one we had prototype kind of hardware that took devs years to master. no such thing this gen. if you're expecting The order visuals in multiple game and games that aren't this linear, you're dead wrong. x1 is outclassed and its only been a year lol

I agree with all you said. There are a few here that are touting the games graphics and it makes me laugh. Yay? The game isn't being received as fun, who fucking cares if its pretty? You can have this pretty game all day, I'll play Sunset Overdrive over this any day.
