Do you guys think there is a chance R* will announce GTA5 for WiiU? I hope in the future they release it for WiiU. i will be buying it for PS3 if they dont.

Well... its a free market for them so I don't see why not. The Wii would have required them to make lots of drastic change but with WiiU they could straight up port with no issues I would think.
It really depends on how well the system and third party does, that will be the best indicator to if they can garner some third party games from other not as fortunate games. For GTA though, it will sell regardless of platform at least for the flagship ones.
No, and I won't repeat myself on why.Do you guys think there is a chance R* will announce GTA5 for WiiU? I hope in the future they release it for WiiU. i will be buying it for PS3 if they dont.

Crappy poll is crappy. No option for not getting it. I am not getting one because I already have a current gen console and don't need another one. I am waiting on the "real" next gen consoles to get here. I also don't like the controller and other than ZombiU, the games suck.AmazonTreeBoaWell, this is a launch Wii U thread, and it is assuming that people interested in the Wii U will be the ones visiting it... if you never plan on buying a Wii U, you have no interest in it, meaning you have no reason to be in a Wii U Launch thread, meaning that there should be no poll option for you. Seeing as how you ARE here, though, it is safe to conclude that there is at least some marginal interest in the Wii U on your part, and that you plan on buying one sooner or later.

3 more days, sony fans be scared

Why Sony fans? Last time I checked, Sony and MS were both in competition with Nintendo...

Is your computer going?
Its running but I cant do my full system restore like I wanted to. i appreciate all the help. I might just take it somewhere.
To be honest reviews for that game will have no effect on me, as with NSMB2, I know in going to love it, even if is similar to previous installments.Gamexplain's review for NSMBU is dropping tomorrow.
So far they seem very pleased with it.

WARRIORS OROCHI 3 HYPER (WII U) LAUNCH TRAILERat least is something.
TilxWLOC
That looks... kind of boring, its flashy and looks like it'll offer a bit of mindless fun, but it looks incredibly repetitive.
Stay away.
The seemingly mindless 'Warriors' games used to have strategy involved beneath the repetitive combat, but KOEI removed all the subtle strategic elements and literally turned it into a mindless hack & slash, basically casualized it.
What I would give for an HD remake of DW5 on PS2...
So help me System Wars, what does this system have at launch, and how many tablet controllers can it support?
789shadow
The system can theoretically support 2, but no software utilizes 2 gamepads yet. Also you can't purchase a standalone gamepad (yet), it comes with the system. Obviously you can repair / change battery / get it replaced if needed.
Retail Launch Day Games (potential eShop games not included)
Yeah, looks like I'll hold off until the standard huge system seller first party games come out.
789shadow
NSMB U & Nintendo Land? Those are the reasons why I want one asap, they are "huge system sellers."
I think you are refering to Nintendo's AAA efforts. Well I think we can safetly assume that the spiritual successor to Galaxy 2 and Retro's game will launch next year as the two Q4 2013 guns.
Idk how you feel about Pikmin 3, but it's coming out next spring.
Those are 5 core/bridge games I really want, so yeah very nice 1st party lineup. Hopefully we'll get some eShop gems aswell, like Pushmo/Dillon on 3DS.
The 3rd party lineup is also impressive with Rayman Legends, Wonderful 101, Bayonetta 2, MH3 HD.
I'm looking at about 10 non filler retail games in its first 12 months, I have to say I'm impressed. Non filler means sort of "day 1" type game, while I'm still looking at some "filler" games like Scribblenauts Unlimited, Sonic Racing and Black Ops II that could be neat additions to the library aswell, however I doubt I'll have the time/money to delve into the "neat" category.
I can't wait to see Retro's and Monolith's new projects. Ninty is the same franchises and are of very high quality but look to those guys to have much different surprise franchises and experiences.
As of now though, they got some fairly hard hitter first parties for the "casual" audience on launch day. Still they seem like good games regardless to anyone.
I just realized i get to watch football and play all my new games on Sunday at the same time with the WiiU :) Winning!
Honestly that is my favorite feature, do how close the game pad needs to be to the system, like could you play it around the house.I just realized i get to watch football and play all my new games on Sunday at the same time with the WiiU :) Winning!

It would be sick if Nintendo makes a 3DS Zelda game like the OoT Remake. Use the same controlls but a different world and art style.

I have read that unfortunately it needs to be tethered to the system to use the tablet as a gaming screen. So you can't go very far :\

i havent seen one first hand account that has said this. It is always cordless (unless you just used the wrong word there. I know the range is only about 25 feet, but it is not tethered)
For the Poll I preordered but the Wii U wouldn't arrive at my house until Black Friday or the Saturday after Black Friday.

When have musou games not been casual? lol
It always been mindless hack & slash. That's the whole point. The only musou game to have any real strategic elements were the empire games and even then...not that big. Don't act like the older games were hardcore or different from the newer ones.
@TilxWLOC - The whole point of these kind of games is to be mindless. You either like it or you don't. I wouldn't be surprised if you find it to get reptitive quick.

The OoT style perspective is too zoomed out to really take advantage of stereo 3D, and I don't feel like getting a console-like Zelda on handhelds.
I'd rather have a unique handheld Zelda game, I propose using the same engine & fixed camera perspective as 3D Land making the gameplay top-down ish, but obviously 3D-esque in its feel. Basically how Pkmn B/W feels more 3D even though the gameplay is still top-down. Also same vibrant color palette as 3D Land.

The two unique handheld zelda games where mediocre at best(PH/ST).[QUOTE="SuperFlakeman"]

Yeah, if anything DW7 is the strategic one( not counting Empires ofc) because it offers optional objectives that help with the batlle. That is an extremely impressive score for Mario, although it is IGN, so I will take it with a grain of salt.New Super Mario Bros U gets a 9.1 from IGN
Nintendo Land gets a 8.7 from IGN

To be honest I'm more impressed at Nintendo Land's score. I'll have to try it out when I get a Wii U.
