Dark Souls II got a 90% from M! Games. For context, Demon's Souls got 82%, and Dark Souls got 88%, so this is the highest rated Souls game yet.

What area are you stuck in Dark Souls?

I am not stuck at all lol.

I started the game, played it a fair bit, lost my save file in an Xbox migration, and cannot be arsed to start it again is all. I really do like the game, but these days, I've been looking for gaming that's a bit less... stressfully engaging :p

Link Between Worlds is more fucking Zelda. The Souls games on the flip side are fantastic. You chose to not finish fantastic things. You are scum.

Hopefully the framerate is fixed and the game's a little less amateur in design. Don't get me wrong, Dark Souls is excellent, but it isn't short on flaws. That's for sure.

Crappy series .... didn't like DS2 at all .... I tried, i really tired.

Oh please you and your Crapcom gtfo!!! Deep Down is like 1/10 of the Souls quality and don't even try with the "you haven't even played it", you can clearly see how shitty Deep Down is gonna be.

DARK SOULS II is one of the few games that needs to be almost the same as their predecessors, Dark Souls I because we want Dark Souls games to stay the way they are.

I hope this game becomes a massive hit.....

I would certainly hope so. They say they rebuilt the engine completely, and that it performs better. Particularly the PC version, which will have real graphics options and no framerate cap this time.

It seems like the scope of conversation for this game has been limited by PC gamers jerking off to their slightly better performance than 7-8+ year old consoles. Never mind that they never got Demon's Souls and had to wait a whole year for Dark Souls. This is all that matters.

And of course the first inflammatory comments made in this thread are by PC gamers. No other group of gamers is pathetic enough to extract their self-worth from their video game platform of choice that they had nothing to do with.

Say what you will, but at least Hitler shaved somewhat regularly and didn't substitute Mountain Dew and Cheetos for a diet.
