Well, in your way of thinking, it would be the lack of games and ect... But if we are technologically speaking, then the Wii... and the PS2... and the... (omg) Dreamcast... won't live past 2010 360, I dunno, since only a yr. after the 360, they are *supposedly* coming out with the 360Elite...
I think all 3 current gen systems will last till 2010, unless MS is stupid and releases another hew console by then, I think no matter how little support the PS3 gets sony is arrogent enough to keep suporting it
The PS3. Although I've never been a fan of Nintendo's franchises in the past, I have to say that they just might have struck gold with the Wii. Having Online in SSBB will be the main selling point for me personally, and that game will be a system seller.
SONY is planning to make $$ of PS3 Fiscal year 2008 ... Microsoft is planning to make money off 360 fiscal year 2007 or 2008 Wii is already making money ...
Also look at how GC and Xbox survived last gen dispite SONY's 70% marketshare ...

Yeah, in europe where they are charging an even higher price for the blimming thing, so you're paying more for less.

Oh, and I didn't vote for any of them since, for one the dreamcast is no longer sold and Sega is out of the console business so that is kinda pointless as a option, second the PS2 is a 'last' gen machine, so shouldn't really be compared to the others (except for dreamcast which I have already covered) and so is bound to no longer be available before the other three, though is still being rather successful and which I would not be surprised to still see being a top contender in 2010 over all three 'next' gen machines, and finally third 2010 is not that far off, not far enough in the future to be able to determine the fate of any 'next' gen machine.
As to why I keep putting ' around next and last? Because the whole 'this is a new generation of gaming' thing is just a marketing ploy, anyone who says otherwise needs to look at the bigger picture. Why wasn't the original xbox next gen over the PS2 for instance despite bringing in more advanced graphics and a more comprehensive online experience? And no this is not an invitation for fanboys to defend their system, just a point about how its a marketing ploy by all companies in order to sell more products to a naive consumer base.
