We can only dream that they actually sell the IP to someone competent and confident enough to make the sequel.

crytek makes shit games, them going down is good for the industry, especially if they can't even pay their employees.

Its a shame. Crysis 2 and 3 were pretty good. Crysis 1 is vastly overrated though. Now I'm gratefull they didnt bought the Darksiders IP

And why make an Homefront 2? The 1st one was shit and it didnt even sold that well. They're really shooting themselves in the foot with this one

I wish consoles would stop killing devs who were good once.

They shouldn't have gone to consoles in the first place. No one put a gun to their head to make games for 360/ps3.

Well that sucks.

I guess Crytek and Ryse might end up this gens Factor 5 and Lair. Ouch.

More like this gens free radical design with Haze

Ryse/Crisys >Haze >Lair

Lair was complete garbage and so was Haze.

Crytek should have cut staff a long time ago. They have way, way to many employees to pay for the few games they were making. Besides Homefront, what else were all these developers working on?

Yet both Lair and Haze scored better *snickers*

They did?

Haze: http://www.metacritic.com/game/playstation-3/haze

Lair: http://www.metacritic.com/game/playstation-3/lair

Ryse: http://www.metacritic.com/game/xbox-one/ryse-son-of-rome

If you're talking about GS scores, we all know GS are the worse reviewers in the industry. Ryse is no where near a 4 score. The score on Metacritics is a more accurate score then anything on GS. They gave TLOU an 8. lol!!

You sure you wanna go that road where GS scores doesn't count?

Cause if you are then you admitting that for instance TLOU shits on the entire 360s library both score wise and award wise

Yup because the consoles forced crytek to make executive decisions, spend millions of dollars and man hours to develop games for them, right?

I haven't enjoyed a Crytek game since Crysis 1. They're better off as a technology company, rather than a game developer.
