Like the title says, which fantasy game has been your favorite so far?
Oblivion
Demon Souls
Dragon Age

The Witcher. Haven't played enough of Dragon Age to honestly rate it. I can say i was totally wrong about it looking lame as hell, because so far it's really really good, aside from the cliches. AAllxxjjnnThis. The Witcher owns all three.

Eww?
It beats having Demon's Soul, which is automatically disqualified because it's a JRPG with western themes. A game with anime influences developed by a western company would be a WRPG. From the list, I wouldn't comment on Dragon Age yet, my computer is down and I'm waiting until the holidays to play the game. So far, the Witcher and Neverwinter Nights 2 gets the nod.No Witcher? Poll = epic fail. Also, why is Neverwinter Nights 2 not up there? That game is better than all three of those others up there. And one of them isn't even a WRPG!
I haven't played Demon's Souls or Dragon Age... but Oblivion with Oscuro's Oblivion Overhaul and the Shivering Isles expansion is quite fantastic.
Dragon age, Hands down, until Mass Effect 2 comes out in january. either way, bioware is king of the hill.
between Oblivion and Dragon age, prob oblivion for me tho, for the exac reason listed in that poll too :P

Thats flawed logic. Thats just like if someone were to make a western movie in texas, and they were from india, then you are basically saying that it would be an indian western movie, which would not be the case.[QUOTE="Shafftehr"]No Fable?treedoor

I wouldn't have voted for it, but it's *obviously* something that should be on this list. Right now The Witcher gets my vote :p Kind of sad, since I consider it a good rather than great RPG. Oh, and there's no Witcher on that list either :p PS - Mass Effect RPG of the gen!!![QUOTE="hiphops_savior"][QUOTE="treedoor"]It beats having Demon's Soul, which is automatically disqualified because it's a JRPG with western themes. But Westerns are tied to a setting and a style.. Western RPGs can be sci-fi of any sort, a variety of fantasy types... WRPG, to my mind, pretty much means "an RPG made in the west." It's usually associated with a style, but that doesn't seem the hard and fast rule. Westerns, on the other hand, are set in the wild west of North America, tied to a particular period - not to where it's made.Eww?

Besides, "JRPG" is the term WRPG is opposed to, and that's "Japense RPG" - obviously meant to be tied to Japan. Why wouldn't western RPGs be similarly tied to the west?
I haven't played Dragon Age yet, but from the looks of it, it doesn't really compare the other two. I chose Oblivion. I own both Oblivion and Demon's Souls. I'll be purchasing Dragon Age next friday most likely.

You screwed up big time in the poll. Have you ever heard of The Witcher?
I guarantee you, most people who played it would choose The Witcher.
Lame post, you put Oblivion which is hardly a RPG, same with Demon's Souls, yet you neglected The Witcher...Anyway, even though I didn't play Dragon Age, my vote goes to The Witcher and I'm very doubtful if Dragon Age could even match it, let alone surpass it.Salt_The_Fries
DA:O is on the same level as the Witcher IMO, but in a different way...
Didn't like Oblivion, so that's out.
I've only played a small bit of Demon's Souls and Dragon Age: Origins, but so far I'll give the advantage to DA:O. The fighting system is more to my liking. I really can't make a true decision until I play through both though.
