The age of 9.5 done?

Looks like any majorly hyped game from now on that is decent (or company throws a few moneyhats) will get a 10. :|

if smg got a 10 then i would say all is fair but yea the age of the 9.5's are over now a 9.51 and up = 10

SMG does not deserve a 10..

Hell, IMO it doesn't even deserve GOTY when other great games like Halo 3 and CoD4 came out in 2007.

yeah but if it was reviewd this year do you think it still would have gotten a 9.5 or would it have gotten a 10?

Just because a game doesn't "stand out" for you, doesn't mean they don't stand out for others. Different strokes for different folks. I dislike a lot of gamings biggest franchises. It's only normal that everything is not for everyone, and it's silly to expect it to be that way.

its not about me or you its about the people that get paid and for a site known for being hard to now give score higher then the mean ...eh it all seems odd to me

Referring to the scope of GS reviews, it seems that most 9.5 games that are encompassed in hype will now receive a 10.0. However this shouldn't upset anybody because you should of stopped using GS review scores to judge a game along time ago.
