Between this, the skype app and the twitter app there was some truly fierce competition on the Vita front. Congrats to the developers.
I gave it to The Walking Dead, but in all fairness, that's the only game from this year I've played on the handheld.
Sadly, unless they start making games for the system that I actually want to play (more Uncharted, Infamous, or other good third person action adventure games), then my PSV will be nothing more than a movie player on trips and a really good accessory for my PS4.
Sony is doing everything right with the PS4, but they are doing everything wrong with the PSV. Weird.

I can't wait to pick up Tearaway when I get thought the mountain of games I have to try for the Vita.
Hopefully the massive success that the PS4 is enjoying at the minute will help the Vita as I know many UK retailers are seeing a massive upsurge in sales due to the remote play features. that can only help future development on the platform.
Hopefully a few games are in the pipe line, with Sucker Punch rumoured to be making a vita game. http://www.joystiq.com/2013/09/06/rumor-infamous-coming-to-vita/
@withe1982: That would be great but my hope for the handheld market is pretty well gone.
The PSV needs third party support as well and frankly it's just not there.
I'm just grasping onto any straws I can as I don't get my Vita 'til Xmas (girlfriend has hidden it) so hoping it's not just going to lose all support. Hopefully now I've got one 3rd party developers will see it's worth developing (crosses fingers).
To be honest though as with many others I only bought one to remote play when I get my PS4 next year.

Stay jelly. :)

Lmao
Anyway, Tearaway looks amazing, so it was well deserved
Huh - I thought they'd already stopped selling the Vita. Learn something everyday!
Some good jelly right here. :)
It seems like sony is still making the same mistakes with the Vita as with the PSP.
"Let's have awesome hardware and no gaemz? "
Totally the opposite of the DS\3DS
Well and the games they do have are just (often later) handheld ports of their PS3 games.
Tearaway is an outstanding game. I played the demo and immediately decided to buy it. All the video's and previews don't do this game justice.
