Hmm, is there anything wrong with your 7970? I went from a 7950 to a 780ti and it's a nice leap but with a 7970 I'd probably just wait for whatever their next line of cards are. If you do get a 780ti I can recommend the Gigabyte ones, they're swell.

I'm rooting for the Wizards. Tomorrow is the big day for me though, Raptors/Nets game 7. Really hoping Toronto can crush out the win but their inconsistencies scares me. The refs have been destroying them in all the games.

Kevin Garnett is such a bitch. I hate him. The refs have been giving him so much leeway. The guy pushes off on every damn rebound battle and never gets a call. Paul Pierce has become annoying too. He just sounds like an unintelligent cocky asshole. Even Joe Johnson was getting on my nerves lately.

Metal Gear Solid. Metal Gear takes place before MGS but I doubt its aged well. Id just read a plot summary.

Also, what is with sony not putting all the games on disc in their collections? I really doubt the 1GB for MGS/MGS VR wouldn't have fit on the blu-ray.

Read up on MGS1's story (and the ones for MG 1 and 2 if you want, but it's all silly nonsense that fan summaries make more normal) and skip the game. It's old and feels that way.

MGS2 HD honestly just feels like MGS1 in HD, done correctly and if it (MGS1) had aged properly. Obviously it's not perfect, but it's a 13-year old game that's held up really well. It's also one of the few games I've ever felt that has done backtracking correctly. It's a lot more fun and crazy than the first game.

If you have a Vita, that's the system I would recommend MGS2 HD on. Besides popping off the Vita's screen, it really suits the handheld well, damned long cutscenes aside

Since you don't have a PSP/Vita, MGS1 on a console will be even more intolerable than it was on a handheld. Honestly, skip it.
