PC owners not sure. You would think you need money to build those rigs, but I think many of them get disability checks. Agoraphobic, social anxiety. Basically shut-ins so what else are they gonna spend money on? :)

PS3 for me.  Got a 360 first, had so much fun playing Fight Night Round 3, Burnout Revenge, CoD2, and PGR3.  I started to lose interest in the 360 over the last 4 years though, I didn't like the direction MS started taking the 360.  I still had a lot of fun with the 360 though.  I got the least enjoyment out of the Wii. Which was weird, cause I most excited about the Wii at the start of this gen.  I ended up getting a PS3 last (2007), and enjoying it the most.

Xbox 360, mainly because it lead the generation in terms of console features, built in HDD, streamlined online integration, built in wireless controller functionality, Netflix, digital movie retail and rentals, downloadable games, demos, game videos, friends lists, party chat, achievements, and pioneered the biggest leap over the previous generation and really lead to a larger atmosphere of game development aiming at both consoles and PC markets. I feel they had the larger impact on console gaming this gen. Sure the PS3 is a very comparable system and even better in regards to having Blu-ray and free online, but it wouldn't be anything close to the console we have today if Sony didn't have to compete with MS, probably no HDD and instead use proprietary memory cards, no online store, limited online gameplay probably requiring a peripheral HDD device, no downloadable games, probably no Cell or Blu-ray, no Netflix, no online updates or DLC, no trophies, and all around a much weaker console.lamprey263

When we are comparing standalone consoles, the 360 having games like Left 4 Dead, Gears 1, The Witcher 2, Mark of the Ninja, and Mass Effect 1 (for pretty much the entirety of this gen), that starts to add a lot of favor towards 360's library. I truly feel bad for RPG fans that are PS3 only owners since they missed The Witcher 2 which is one of the best RPGs this gen.

Not to mention other RPGs like Fallout and Skyrim are actually playable on 360 whereas the PS3 version are awful.

PS3 still has a better and more diverse library of games. I agree about the PS3 getting terrible ports Besthesda. I don't play 100 hr RPGs so that doesn't bother me though.

Neither PC nor 360 EVER got Metal Gear Solid 5 which is dwarfs any PC/360 meshing including Witcher and Mass Effect. Many would Xbox 360 is really missing out on Ni No Kuni as well if you want to talk RPGs....

I got the most enjoyment from my PS3 since it has the most exclusives I enjoy. But now I really couldn't care less about consoles. Really, the PS3 and Xbox 360 were so damn similar to the point where fanboys needed to resort to bragging over petty little things. At the end of the day they offered near-identical experiences.

That's a selfish way of looking at things

I enjoyed MGS4 but I do not consider it anything to be jealous of since it is a game that has more cutscenes than actual gameplay. I like to play games, not watch them.

Let's also not forget that the 360 is the best console for hack and slash. There are 3 juggernauts in the hack and slash genre thish gen: Bayonetta, Ninja Gaiden, and Devil May Cry. 360 has the far superior version of Bayonetta, Ninja Gaiden 2 without the gimped difficulty and terrible Ayane and Rachel missions, Backwards compatible with Ninja Gaiden Black (best HnS of all time), and the superior version of the newly released DMC game.
