The platforming mechanics were fairly simple, it's the level design and the use of the mechanics that made the game so amazing.

People made fantastic levels with the level creator, there was just so much content.

Don't even get me started on the story, the graphics, and the game environments, they were all perfect. The story mode was a blast, LBP is a classic IMO. Not many games have as much heart as that does, too bad it's not as appreciated as it should be.

That list is surprisingly good and I actually agree with the majority of it. Not too shabby SW, thought it was the scum of GS but I guess not all hope is lost.

It's all about the level design my friend, everything else more than makes up for it. The game is extremely fun to play because of all the creativity surrounding it, and that's why I love it so much :). It's great fun with friends, and it showed a creative side of the console community that we don't normally see.

Cows never gave a rats ass about Uncharted until Uncharted 2 came out and got all those scores, because they could use it as ammo in the console war. Before U2, the series used to be talked about like generic shovelware, the same way people make fun of Resistance. They cant even tell you 3 things they like about the game without using some marketing buzzword like "cinematic experiance", "production value", etc... Ive never met anybody in real life praise the game like that.

Not surprised at cows overhyping games as usual. The best games this gen are Halo 4 and Red Dead Redemption. The most influential is Gears.

I just can't do it. I have not been this hyped for a game since MGS4 (an to a lesser extent God of War 3). But a friggin year? Seriously? But hell, possibly the 2 best games of all time are coming out in the same month. (U3 + ME3. Elder Scrolls Skyrim also comes out that month and will definately be up there)

I am also hyped for Bioshock Infinite after watching that 10 minute gameplay demo a few months ago. Game looks amazing, but I swear I read it had a 2012 release date. This is killing me. Still, and I don't care if you think I'm a "fakeboy" or not (because given the circumstances i'm not really saying anything far fetched) but I am 100% convinced that Uncharted 3 will most likely score a 10 here, and be the highest rated game of all time on Gamerankings and Metacritic.

If you still think I'm a "fakeboy" or think what I'm saying is a longshot, go look at Uncharted 2's scores here, and where it's at on GR/MC (it's 6th on GR)

People made fantastic levels with the level creator, there was just so much content.

Don't even get me started on the story, the graphics, and the game environments, they were all perfect. The story mode was a blast, LBP is a classic IMO. Not many games have as much heart as that does, too bad it's not as appreciated as it should be.

It's all about the level design my friend, everything else more than makes up for it. The game is extremely fun to play because of all the creativity surrounding it, and that's why I love it so much :). It's great fun with friends, and it showed a creative side of the console community that we don't normally see.

I was an ignorant (and massive) Cow when I typed that. Thats been made painfully clear. And I also got sucked into Sony's hype. I didnt even own a PS3 (or a 360) at the time that I made that post, and had never played the uncharted games before. Just blindly followed the prase (and "teh GOTY even though I cant list one thing about it thats done better than elsewere"). Until I actually bought them and played them.

Believe me, I know first hand how ignorant cows are, and how their mental process works because Ive been inside the mind. ;)
