Super Smash Bros. bundle sold out at GameStop and Amazon

Looks like the demand is certainly there for Super Smash Bros on Wii U as the bundle which contains a copy of the game, a GameCube Controller Adapter for Wii U, and Super Smash Brothers Edition of the GameCube Controller, is completely sold out on both Amazon and GameStop. Amazon is allowing fans to be notified by email once the bundle is back on sale.

Fantastic news. Best Buy has been stocking up on Wii U consoles as well. One best buy had 65 Wii U consoles on hand for the holiday season.

Glad I have mine on Preorder.

I just hope there will be some Amiibos available at launch.

I didn't order this. Ordered Smash and the adapter, but skipped on the overpriced controller. Unless I can convince Amazon to give me a gift card on Smash because Target is going to, I'll skip this bundle entirely.

Going digital for mine so have to go pick up the adapter on launch day. Now this is a nice quality game that I have been waiting for! And then Toad Tracker weeks later, *dies*.

This thing is completely sold out everywhere, yeah. Tried Best Buy too, and apart from some glitchy in store thing, they don't have it any more.

Looks like I'll stick with the standard edition for now, and pick up the adapter later.

I really hope I can find the adapter on the 21st. At least the good thing is that I do not need the adapter right away anyway,

Damn and I just got my paycheck today.

Hopefully it's in stock soon but if not I'll just preorder the game, get the GC adapter later, and use the Wii U Pro.
