It seems it is getting different scores depending on the outlet with IGN.com giving the game a 9.0, while Gametrailers.com a 7.0. Eurogamer gave it a 8.0.

Nice to hear, it is even better then I thought it was going to be since I thought 7.0 would be the score.

So the same score as infamous SS yet infamous is considered a bad game on SWs while this one is great I see well I guess that's expected in SWs lol.

Cows will really be losing it next month when MCC comes out since it will be 3 months in a row of X1 getting a AA or better exclusive.

But this game scores an 8 and it's a great game.

It's amusing that the reviews that actually discuss the gameplay give it a 7.

Also FM5. It got a 9, but the cows pretend like it doesn't exist. And KI has turned into a good game.

Anyway, this game turned out better than I thought. I expected a flop. They need to get a demo out so gamers can understand it for themselves.

The scale of hype also matters. inFamous and Smash 3DS were hyped AAA, got AA, flopped.

This was hyped A, got AA, and thus is not a flop.

Don't complain, its how things work. You hype a game AAA and it fails to hit the hype then its a flop.

@charizard1605: Besides...I've heard non stop hype about this game. Lems kept saying it was going to be great blah blah....it was showed at conventions as a great exclusive.

There is no difference except how excited ppl were for it.

And that has nothing to do with the actual game.

And at least Infamous SS has nice graphics while SO looks pretty funky.

The amazing thing is, after the first TLOU flop, cows didn't learn, and still hyped the remaster AAA... which it failed to hit again!

I don't think anyone on a video game forum should be giving worldview advice.

Fact is....the excitement for a game pre realease has nothing to do with how the actual game is.

You can hipster spin it all you want....but an 8 is a good score. Not sure how you don't see that as an actual fact.

That said, inFamous is a flop.

Cows did that a lot too. Talked all their games up and then said AA, they did it with Drive Club.

If you say Infamous is a flop....and Infamous got an 8....then by association an 8 is a flop.
