Sunset Overdrive Bundle Selling Out in US

Ive checked gamestop, amazon, wal mart, target, best buy....they are sold out on all of those sites. While the PS4 white destiny bundle is still everywhere.

And on Ebay they are going for as high as $600.

Good thing I saw this coming and grabbed mine...(I also predicted Bayonetta 2 being GOTY a month before the reviews)

I'm not boasting about it really, major nelson did say this was a very limited run...and sony could have just made more of the destiny bundle. Im just saying this is looking to be a highly sought after item.

ur thread states sold out but it isnt. and on uk website its available on amazon/ms store/game/tesco/asda basically everywhere. if the bundle was selling so good where the hell is it on amazon best sellers of 2014?

It seems Microsoft is unable to make enough Sunset Overdrive bundles fast enough. WTF is going on here?

ok i edited it, and LOL @ amazon best sellers list. that thing isn't accurate man sorry to break it to you. I remember they had the ps4 at like 10th place last year when it was selling like hotcakes......and could it be that amazon only received like 5k units therefore other items on the site technically sold more?

Yeah, it's U.S. Microsoft didn't lower the price in Europe, Japan or anywhere else where the system isn't appreciated. lol!! I think the XB1 will take back the U.S. within the next 12-18 months, if not sooner.

Would have been nice if it was a themed X1 rather than just the white. Considering SO's design, they should have thrown some color in there

and if ps4 was no.10 on that list how the hell disapprove it didnt sell like hotcakes? it released around novemeber and still made it top 10, ahead of it were probably games which of course sell more than 2 month old consoles.

this is a classic marketing ploy which lems are eating up. by limiting supply they make a item seem more exclusive so they can generate buzz 'bu-bu-bu it sold out so it must mean it sold alot!!!'

I'm not a fan of the white consoles but if it had some orange and a SO logo and a fizzie on it, i would have gotten a second XB1. Still not sure if i want a 2nd one or a 1st Wii U for my next purchase.

The white XB1 is cool and all, but I think the better deal is the Assassin's Creed XB1 bundle.

It's also $350, yet you're getting Black Flag and a download code for Unity when it releases. You're basically getting two games for free. However, the console is still the default black. I have no interest since I have a gaming PC (and own Black Flag already) but this is an ideal bundle for console gamers. If MS announced the US was getting the white Xbox One/MCC bundle for $350, then I'd definitely buy it, no questions asked.

Microsoft's bundles just seem much better than Sony's. $450 for a white PS4 with a mediocre game? No thanks.

Great game. I'm happy to see it selling. The X1 is a great system with some really fun games on it and I'm happy to see that people are starting to realize it. Sunset Overdrive is the most fun I've had so far this gen. Game has so much personality. I laugh regularly while playing it. Fortunately it's not super corny comedy, but off the wall, over the top comedy.

True. Maybe that explains sales figures for the PS4 and Destiny in the US.

I disagree, those themed consoles look like kids toys. Its like your whole life is devoted to that one game that the console is themed after. But the star wars 360 was a thing of beauty.

I'm from rip off Britain so I passed up the Sunset Overdrive bundle in favour of the Assassins Creed one. For £350 I got:

1. 4 + Unity download code which I will be selling for around £45.

2. £15 credit

3. The Halo MCC.

The Sunset Overdrive bundle is available pretty much everywhere here.

Quantity shipped is important to make any conclusions....without it....it means nothing.

There was an error on Polish Microsoft site two months ago and for a couple of hours Sunset Overdrive bundle was being sold for 200 dollars, Microsoft since corrected the pricing but allowed the lucky ones to get the console for that price.

Yeah, it just needs an orange Nickelodeon goo style blob on it.

Had two friends who had to go to different a bunch of different stores to get this bundle cuz it was sold out at a bunch of them, good to hear.

It is on the Amazon.com best sellers US list, and for being a limited run and sold out in the US at most stores it did really good. I see people looking for the bundle posting for help in several forums. You should also know that people in the US aren't going to purchase one from over seas.

I want an X1 with Kinect MCC bundle at lets say hmm, $399.99 will do it, make it happen MS. :P

Nicely done on the GOTY call even though still not sure it may happen, just shows you know your quality.

Now as for the bundle, I am sad face. I don't like the all white console though, really tempted for the Unity bundle only because you get the download code plus it's time I try Assassin's Creed again.

they didnt drop anything, they wanted to promote a new IP in america. Halo will help sell xboxes in europe where it needs more help.

@blackace: you do realize that all xbone big guns are now out and yet the ps4 keeps outselling it, if the xbone doesnt outsell the ps4 this month by a good margin, then its game over, no question about it.

Really happy for insomniac , they do make good games, R3 was one hell of a shooter, too bad the game is xbone exclusive, may be a rare example of a good game that I wish it was on ps4.

It's never game over and you must have forgotten that the XBox 360 outsold the PS3 for 18 month straight in the U.S. I'll be more interested in the November sales money with Black Friday included. Not really expecting XB1 to outsell PS4 for Oct, but stranger things have happened. Halo: MCC isn't out yet. That will be out on Tuesday. Bundle will probably get released for GTA V and Halo: MCC before Black Friday.
