Steam just got hit by DDos along with Sony, Bliz and riot

I was playing CSGO when suddenly everyone had over 500 ping. Then I checked and its happening in pretty much every steam game.

Then I found this while scrolling FB

It sounds more likely that the server tc was playing on just shit the bed.

Same here downloading Darksiders. Store, activity, profiles, etc. all working normally.

Nothing new here.

It's not affecting people INSIDE the US. It's just one guy who had a high ping on a server who used some terrible logic and assumed that meant that the entirety of Steam was getting DDoS'd.

Yesterday CSGO was unplayable

Really? I played a couple comp rounds just fine yesterday, and today

always trying to bring down the tall poppies.

So, this thread should be locked for false information...

(Steam wasn't affected by such DDoS.)
